Most of the Civics were slower, though. The 160hp was an exception.

What I meant was that average Saab (and Volvo I guess) was faster than average european car. This includes European car made by Japanese manufacturers.

Swedish manufacturers never bothered with underpowered cars, they put engines that were fit for purpose.

1.4 Saab or Volvo? Never heard of that.

    Apologies for OT:o

True, but depending on what you think it fast.. everything between 5 and 7 is fast, everything above 7 seconds is "normal" and everything above 8,5 is slow and everything above 12 should nog be on the public roads or maybe the bike section of the road

i live in Ireland haha but not raised :) just moved here..

as compare: I have a 1.6 with 116hp and it does 0-100 in 8,8.. so with more than 50hp less, 0,4 liter, no turbo its 'only' 0.1s slower

edit: and yes, I think my car is way too slow

What car is that? I have a 1.2L golf with 6 bhp less and it does it in 9.8.

(My car is plenty fast for me)

I must check the speed of my starlet
    1.3 turbo roughly 130bhp and 900kg
I'd be interested to see how long it takes to get to 100kph
Quick little car tho they shouldn't be underestimated

Delighted to hear that, however the wheels seem to be a bit marmite with a lot of people. They are a graphite colour at the moment, which I really like myself. Many others seem to think go back to the original silver colour!

I like them , and as long as you like them that's all that matters really. She's your 166!

I'm actually noticing the 166 start to creep up in value now particularly the Busso's. I bought mine for €950 in the UK at the start of last year , some of them are looking for €3,000 in the UK at the minute..

For the most part 0-60 times are completely meaningless.

Can we ban chat on this thread? Leave it to pics only. If someone wants to talk about the car continue it up in the chat thread or something.

Tbh there are few things I hate more than No chat [at all] threads. The odd comment is doing no harm

You should grab a set of BBS CH's for it, if say they'd really suit the car. :pac:

Got those refurbished when I got it (a year ago) as all the wheels I looked at were either cracked or welded multiple times. Just decided to bring them back to life.
