think mccall will play it safe and keep it standing, dont see him taking much punishment from lineker who'll be doing a lot of swinging and missing
lineker went five with benav and mouse, fancy he'll go the distance here

I reckon he is going for the finish because he wants a title shot next and will try and impress. Thats my hunch. But Linekar is tough and v hard to put away, the safe bet is indeed a points decision. Just a couple of rear naked choke losses on Linekars record have me envisioning Mcall going for this after rocking him a couple times.

    Looking at a Treble of

    Brandao
    McCall
    Gastelum

What we think folks? Any feedback?

Decent odds on B365 of 5/1.

I'd leave Gastelum alone, bad weight cut, talk of him having the flu etc. I also think he's gonna hit his first loss soon

    other 2 are fine

I don't see it happening for Gastelum tonight. The guy is a serious prospect but the weight cut was apparently a disaster. Some would look at it as he will be far bigger, but I look at it as the guy was on the brink of destroying his body up to the brink.

Comments from Dana White included "I don't think the weight cut could possible have went any worse".

    I'd avoid him.

    Haha! :) Cheers folks!

Hmm... big fan of Gastelum, he wasn't great in his last outing either though tbf.

Looking at the tips on Fightpredictor.com and they seem to be going for all the underdogs.

    Their tipping

    Tate, Lauzon & Watson...odd!

The only thing is that, Gastelum missed weight before. On that same card where he missed weight two other guys missed weight as well if I recall correctly. So I decided to bet against all the guys that missed weight, and all the fu***** won. So I drew a line under the missing weight thing as an indicator. Granted it could be different this time, but the word on the street his he didn't want to pay Dolce which he has done the last few times because he's not earning enough money.
So think of it this way, you can pay Dolce and make weight, or you can give Dolce's fee to Tyron Woodley instead and just miss weight, and pretend a few things. Probably works out the same in the end, except you have a big weight advantage or energy advantage from not cutting that extra 10 pounds. Also flu like symptoms, is not actually the flu. So Im calling shenanigans on this one!

He was great in his last outing he destroyed Ellenberger and submitted him!!

Lauzon is a bad bet imo. People are forgetting who is training Iaquinta.

before any of the weight cut b****x woodley was my bet of the night.

I look at it two ways now, either he still is my bet of the night or kelvins team were worried about how much weight woodley would put on between weigh in and fight so they missed weight on purpose. if i hadnt already backed woodley id be steering clear.

I like the look of brandao by ko and for an outsider tate by ko aswell.

Other than that im just looking forward to sitting back and enjoying a great card.

but Iaquinta at 1/2 seems shockingly short

outside of pearson he hasnt beaten anyone of note
cant see how lauzon is a bad bet at almost 2/1 though

Yeah they are very poor odds on Al. But if you break it down. J'lo is good on subs, but Al has Serra in his corner. J'lo tends to get caught and rocked on his feet, and Longo is Al's boxing coach. Al is bigger and stronger then J'lo. So I just don't see how he can win other then he is a real tough guy who could come out with something surprising/crazy, he does have it in his locker.

McMann is a one trick pony, as much of a one trick pony as you'll ever see in the UFC. Tate surely has been training getting up and avoiding takedowns. On the feet Tate is light years ahead.
When McMann fought Rhonda her corner were telling her to stand and strike, and she was saying back that she didn't want to lol!

Yeah but that 1 trick is a helluva trick!! Look at Rousey, her Judo is out of this world and does her just fine... McCann with World class wrestling against Tate could be an issue.

Ronda got Tate down to the mat with ease... I think McCann could do the same. If it stays standing up then sure, Tate can get the finish or points win in the very least. Tate is 2.7 on B365.

Im just thinking surely all Tate has done is trained getting up the last few months. I mean McMann doesn't even do much once she has the person down there is just about control. You could be right, but I have faith in Meisha that she has enough experience and skill to nullify McMann. It might have something to do with her good looks though. She seems to be getting better looking with each fight which is kind of weird! It might be skewing my thought process :pac:

There'l be a trip to Vegas if it does!

Ive been thinking of creating a hail mary betting syndicate for UFC's. Get about 10 people in it, with like 10 euro each for every card. Make 10-20 different serious hail mary bets, could be interesting!

Yeah I should of added about the control, she'll transition but probably not do a whole lot tbh. Tate improved a lot in the last fight against Rousey as well, even though Rousey still made it look fairly easy.

Feck it I'll add Tate to my treble :)

    Went for 4 fold

    Woodly @1.53
    Mein @1.66
    McCall @1.66
    Tate @ 2.70

    9/1 odds!

Lets me having you then UFC 183!!

lauzon has only been knocked out by pettis in the past 6/7 years though
if iaquinta can ko lauzon then i've really underestimated al in a big way

Went with a double of Uncle Creepy/Woodley at just over evens. Gastelum's coach said he was hospitalized yesterday so no way is he 100%. Also small bet on Tate by ko at 10/1. Good luck all.

Tonight's get rich scheme: Tate, Gastellum, Anderson, Lauzon, Alves, Leite. And I actually feel (perhaps foolishly) very confident in all but Meisha, but she's more than doubling the return so that's the venture!
