Henry was spot on. Anyway, these incidents are set ups to create drama. It's part of the programme.

While I can see where Henry was coming from in terms of managing exercise while being overweight and how the training plans are designed for him, I dislike how dismissive he seemed to be of the running group as a whole. Could Mark not run with the group in accordance with Henry's training plan, even if it just one evening a week? I think it's great that he joined a running group, it will help him keep the exercises going when OT is over and the cameras are gone.
I used to jog on my own following C25K on my phone but I joined a running group last summer and I found that it benefitted me more to have other people around me.

Anyone look at how much this guy is actually charging for personal training? 70 euro per session and 650 for a block of 10...nah, you're alright Karl.:pac:

karl henry is a charlatan in fairness.
His big thing is long distance running/triathlon which is probably why it is pushed so much in the show. But his own 'achievements' in this field are pretty woeful
    http://www.henryfitnesscentre.com/karl-henry
DNF in 3 out of 4 Ironmans, who even lists that as an achievement?

His times in the events that he has completed are less than stellar as well tbh for someone supposed to be an 'expert'. I have seen some of his running plans he has given to other clients outside OT and they are pretty rubbish and the results he got were very poor.

I wonder how he got the RTE gig?

FFS I was given a chance to turn my life around and someone who's very successful at doing what I want to do was a bit rough with me I'd thank them and follow their advice.

I'm growing tired of this special unique snowflake indignant pity attitude people display.

ha ha ha BUTT Hurt! is that a prison type Freudian slip.
even funnier "special unique snowflake indignant pity attitude people display"

Are you trying to turn fromage frais into an Irish phrase and a condescending insult at the same time?

Please keep doing what you're doing.

Oh I thought that's why he was on these shows  I always cut him slack as I thought he was once obese and could relate to the people on the show.

With all the exposure RTE give him, I doubt he needs the website except for a Contact section

Someone needs to tell him a DNF is a failure, not an achievement.
