So what would you do with the passengers in JFK? Its an expensive flight so they have to show that its reliable.

The passengers in JFK would probably be home already. Because of the weekend schedule, only one aircraft is needed on sat and sun. I can't actually understand why it needs to go there?

To restart its scheduled service as BA4, the fuel is already paid for for it to go there, the pax from the delayed/canx service might have taken alternate routes but the next scheduled service needs to start again

We NEED a seperate discussion thread. If you all vote for me to become mod in 2020, I'll see what I can do.

Maybe send BA ops a question, or a suggestion? I'd be quite sure they know what they're doing. :)

Unfortunately modship is not a democracy. If the powers that be like you, you have more chance of joining the inner executive lounge.

If a topic spins off in a different direction from FR24 please feel free to start a new thread so the current thread stays on topic. There's no problem in starting a new thread, the mods won't bite your head off, there's some great stuff being discussed but it's veering way too far from FR24. Thanks.

Yeah, charter from Toulon for either the Ulster team or Ulster fans. Look out for EI-RJX to BHX or something next week bringing Leinster to Conventry.

No one expected them to win.
Alot of rugby today, wasn't sure where Leinster played but I knew Munster were in England.

May I ask why are aer Lingus doing charters for the ulster team/fans? Is it a matter of payment?

Ah here, I have no interest in Rugby, but on a recent flight to Nice, diverted to Toulon. (rugby yes?)

Anyway, it was because of wind probs. So we had a go around in Toulon aswell as the diversion from Nice. Yikes.

All ended well, a safe landing.. no matter how long it takes it is such a relief.

Sorry to the captains and pilots, but the pax usually worry aswell!

Their flights are arranged through a specliaised sports travel agency; a green Aer Lingus A320 was probably as much a surprise to the team as it was to us.

Recently they've had Estonian Airlines, BM Regional and Aer Lingus flying them. All comes down to availability and $$.

Edit: looks like the ACS contract with Estonian expired at the end of 2014, hence the different airlines now being chartered.

Hmm another Googlejet; former Motorola GLF5 N904G. I wonder where they're heading...

    http://fr24.com/GLF5/54cedc3

The earlier one, N10XG, is now descending over Belgium.

Aha - Google have been summoned before the European Council:

Mr Andrus Ansip receives Mr David Drummond, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer of Google, and Mr Marco Pancini, Public Policy Senior Counsel of Google.

You'd wonder why it thinks that! One of the ones based at JHC Aldergrove.

Maybe the last time FR24 saw it was at Brize...
