    hi,

flight FR7033 this afternoon from Faro to Dublin was very strange. Is it possible to get the flight path of todays flight up on screen? I'm not too familiar with the site but the route it took was mad, went up to the north of France then took a sharp right turn and was almost in Amsterdam before turning back and heading for Wexford, then another sharp right and on to Dublin. was this because of weather?

Click the clock on the top right hand corner beside bookmarks and go back to the time you want.

I think it's an error. Were you on the flight?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,487 ✭✭✭✭JCX BXC

No, not on the flight. just bored in work and noticed it. would it be an error? strange whatever it is!

Nope the B767 holding at 10000ft. I should shut up and stop speculating now.

There's a runway inspection going on at GLA after those arrivals making it in. The rest are holding still, one away to EDI

That BA 767 is edging closer to holding over my house

Some of those planes have been airborne nearly 2 hours.

Runway inspection on-going, no arrivals expected before 2030. Edinburgh has two spaces left for diversions.

    EZY59CA diverting to EDI
    EZY68EB diverting to EDI
    RYR29AL diverting NCL

Junction 8 on the motorway for Glasgow Airport. Can't link directly to it due to their block but here's how it looks at present:

A few more jets on the way to hold in glasgow:P
Any updates on the runway situation?

    BEE5PG returning to BHX.
    WZZ576 for PIK

Isnt that depressing? Spending 2 hours in the air flying to glasgow and then holding, before going back to your origin airport.

Diversions baffle me, Prestwick is 40 minute road journey from Glasgow and has loads of room and looks like it is open yet Flybe are bringing their passengers back to Birmingham and Ryanair went to Newcastle!

There goes the exodus! Had to happen. Chinese on the way. :D Poor Pax.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Grandeeod

Oh wait. Is Flybe having a go?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,487 ✭✭✭✭JCX BXC

Flybe and BA seem to be having a go.
