Right here is the famous "Cannonballs" now :)
It's just been a mess taking one funny day and turning it into this priceless thing!

Marlow once met Cian and said he wanted to be in a video, he's in this one, see if ye can spot him :)

We're looking for cameo appearances for next year.

Ha ha ha I don't know where he gets it honestly.
He just had a bucket load of footage and made that story from it!

I failed miserably, came back from Berlin and bought the e36 :D

Brilliant man, laughed the whole way through :D

Marlow's cameo is a fairly easy spot not long after 1 minute, hard to miss that enormous orange off road weapon

Ha ha yeah I can't really say well copped there :)

Great to see that everyone else thinks it was funny.
We thought we'd just wound it up too much ourselves and it was actually crap :)

Feel free to share etc, we'd only laugh more if it got going proper!
Our biggest video so far has 13k views or so, we reckon this one will break that!

Anyone who wants can be in any of them, its great craic and amazing to see what Cian can do with it.
I agree on the music too Davy he has a real eye for editing and stuff!

Thanks for the sharing man we'll keep the fingers crossed!

Oh god that poor Volvo wasn't fit for the road long before we got it, it was gone too far!
The polo got some reaction, people were loosing the plot over it, sometimes more so than the supercars! It was an unreal day!

Big thanks to Eric Cartman who came down to help. Turned out to be the wheel nuts - they weren't secure!!!!

That tyre depo is not gonna like what I'll them about it tomorrow.

I can get home safely - that's the main thing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,473 ✭✭✭YbFocus

As dangerous as it was at least it's solved before you left for home and ended up in big trouble.

Fair play to Eric in fairness!

My tyre place always tell me after they tighten them up to check them myself as well after a while. They must say that to cover themselves in case something like what happened to you happens.

Speaking of tyre centres, was watching the fitter yesterday quite closely. If you seen how he removed the tyres, grab a crowbar of some variant, solid thick metal, and levers it off the side of the rim in order for the tyre to pop up. I know that's the way that it's done, but I could see some flaking off the corner of one of the rims as he did so. Now I didn't mind, it's an 11 year old car, few scuffs on the alloys won't peev me off, but if that's the attitude they take to an expensive or well minded car?...... I don't know....

Totally unrelated, I'm picking up a new set of night breakers and a slave cylinder tomorrow! Also just off the phone to a guy about the green 9-5's fate, which is looking to be very interesting :D

What mods did you make to the polo? For the run, sounded well when you were driving it through the towns and revving the a55 off it,trying to get backfires..and keep the crowd entertained.

    Do share!

We're discussing turning it into a track car! It'd be a very long run kinda project, as it needs an engine first of all, but like interslice here it'd be done bit by bit, paycheck by paycheck so to speak

Is there a more powerful Saab engine able to go in or would the 2.3 with upgraded turbo be enough?

there's a v6 non turbo that we could turbo, or even twin turbo, but parts are hard to get, so the 2.3 is more common, stick on a bigger turbo and a few other bits, bigger air intake, bigger manifold/exhaust, better fuel pump/injectors, stand alone ecu and you'd be seeing past 450bhp and 500nm or torque, I've never seen an estate track car, maybe there's a reason for it i dunno

    It does indeed :)

If this does go ahead the whole thing will be stripped back to a shell, so some person is going to get a whole interior at some stage, if they like that is and all that
