That's a couple of comments you have made about the weight of players now. No more or you'll be taking a break from this forum.

Love to see a combined weight of the pdc players vs the bdo players :D

    Joking

Great final and well done Gary

Not true. Most 180s scored in a world championship final. It was a fantastic game.

Em, I was only joking. Seemed to be a great final. Just sorry I missed it.

Your memory is short if you believe that. 2007 was better than this clash.

Taylor was nowhere near his best tonight. Delighted for Anderson.

2007 was better. Taylor / Barney going to a sudden death shootout

I've never seen Taylor miss so many darts at double. He should've won it.

Having said that, Anderson deserved it on that performance in the 9th set alone.

    Epic stuff.

Must be a record - between those and some of his miscalculations he did well to win

    Fair play

Throwing things at a wall to see if they will stick compared to what AP those.
    Weird.

Yeah sitting on an animal and making it run must be tough. Making them jump too.

Every sport has its own necessary skills. Impossible to compare them.

Delighted for Andersen but thought Phil was less obnoxious than usual in defeat

He had to have done it 6 or 7 times throughout the tournament. Never seen anybody do it so consistently.

    Delighted the creep Taylor lost.

Part/Taylor is probably the best final I've seen. Closely followed by Taylor/Barney and then tonight.

Great final. Delighted for Anderson. Totally deserved IMO.

Wouldn't have had him down as a darts man.

Brilliant match overall, as others have said, Anderson winning the 9th set deserved the win.

Crazy how many bounce outs and Robin Hoods Anderson had. I've never seen anything like it really. I thought he was going to lose because of it at times. Does anyone know how many 180s each had? I know Phil got more than he normally does but I'm guessing Anderson got 1 or 2 more.

I think it was 19-16 to Anderson on 180s

Just saw on the fantasy thread that it was 19-13 Anderson. I don't think many players have a better first dart than Anderson. He seemed to hit centre of the treble consistently with his opener.

Ah 13 to Taylor, read that wrong so. He hits the centre of the treble with deadly accuracy at times, ah joy to watch really

Interesting to see what's Taylor's checkout percentage was 8/16 alone. He had a terrible time on that side of the board.
