Staying in with minerals and crisps... In in laws with no alcohol. I am not a New Years fan but normally at least have a takeaway and wine. But nope here it was chops and spuds at the regular time and Tayto and minerals tonight. Might plead exhaustion due to 9m old and go to bed early.

By myself watching the long way round on Netflix, great show.

There are four episodes in a row of Game of Thrones on later. Gonna watch them, eat Indian takeaway, drink beers and kill off the rest of the Christmas ounce with my boyfriend, his brother, and maybe a couple of others. Probably start the night out all "New Year's Eve is shít, stupid countdown, blech, load of idiots going out to the PUB for it" and then end it by slurring my way through Auld Lang Syne and phoning people to shout at them that I love Game of Thrones them.

I wish herself could share even an ounce of enthusiasm for game of thrones.

I suggested it earlier - it was firmly shot down

Got back from work tired. Great news is, that I dont need to be at work tomorrow at 6:00 anymore, now I need to be at 5:00! On top of that there is no way I will finish at time I was supposed to!
I fecking hate people who always get "injuries", illnesses, extreme cases always on most busy parts of the year at work...

Of to fecking bed, watch some House and get some sleep.

Going for an Indian with some friends and then heading back to one of their houses for a few drinks to toast the new year :-)

You racist ! How can you attack somebody in such an insouciant manner just because they are a member of an ethnic minority, then you speak about going back to your friends house to get inebriated without pondering on the implications of almost battering to death an innocent asian man.

One teenage daughter staying at her friend's house, the other teenage daughter at a NY party, five year old in bed and my hubby's gone to bed with a stinking migraine, so I'm sitting here alone watching New Year's Eve (the movie) with a glass of prosecco for company.

It's rather nice, actually. Happy New Year everyone! :)

I'm going waltzing with a fat bird I picked up in a burger joint followed by an angry soliloquy in my bedroom about the irony of fat women being easier to pick-up.

Ah great I'm bringing in the new year with watching Kathryn Thomas on RTE, bint has this annoying roar on her, like the type of sound you'd hear outside Abrakebabra on a Saturday night, a one shouting and bawling at her boyfriend kind of sound. Think I'll go to bed early!

Drinking coffee and listening to the mesemerising tones of the fridge motor.

Sitting in , waiting patiently for the bells to chime , no panic or fuss . :)

When I used to go out, always found it to be a sad , maudlin night as more and more people got too drunk and emotions ran high , so for whatever reason we're not out tonight I hope the coming year is a peaceful and healthy one for all x

College assignments which are overdue. I think I might have some form of writers block. I normally avoid socialising new years anyway so I'm not too down about missing out on anything.

Sitting here bloody glad that I'm not the only one not out tonight. I don't mind New Years at all, but it can be better to ring it in with family and/or friends in a house than surrounded by gangs of drunken people. I'm just having a quiet one this year, and I don't mind it.
