I don't think City cover is vital against West Brom. I'm not expecting City to score more than two goals and none of them are in the top 5 of either the FSA or FFS captaincy poll. I would go option 2 since I'm assuming the money doesn't work out if you replace RvP with Costa in option 1.

Yeah, I'd be happier to sell Costa this week but would have to be Downing to Silva then.

Cheers lads. I'm trying to avoid overreaction after my poor week and having let a few days pass I'm probably back on plan.

Zab in for Clichy is my only transfer. Have everyone fit so keep the 2 transfers for next gw.

Between drinking and shopping I'm only getting a chance to look at things now again. Nice to switch the brain off :pac:

I'm nearly thinking I might bank my transfer. It means starting Cresswell away to Chelsea or Wisdom/Hutton but the extra FT could be very handy come the following mayhem of GW19.

Not overly worried about keeping myself City free away to WBA when the picture should be clearer for Burnley at home.

I agree with banking Mr. P.

I also have a difficult defensive decision (1 of Cresswell, Wisdom, Dummett ) But I'd rather have that kind of headache than possibly bringing someone in who might not play :)

So looks like Chambers won't be playing on Friday.

I had intended to save my transfer, but I've gone Yun -> Hutton instead. Leaves me with a squad full of first-teamers and Hazard my only injury question-mark.

Reassuring that I'm not the only one who had 27 different transfer plans running round my head before pretty much settling on banking it.

I'll have to play both Hutton and Bony so something has to give.

I'm even getting wary of Jovetic for Burnley as he's gonna be only just back to fitness.

which of these would you do? I've Loris and myhill in goal

    A loris to Hart

    Or

    B myhill to pantilimon

    Have 0.5m in bank

I got Hart last week as I thought he had the best fixtures over the next few weeks so A. I'll probably get Pantillimon in the wc though.

"Chambers not to play on 26th" isn't how I read that quote. I read it as @Chambers will get a rest once he has a competent back 4 that can replace Chambers (i.e. Koscielny back)

Done Howard-> panti and Clyne-> mangala. Team looking strong enough, but I'm still worried about squad rotation, particularly hazard and Sanchez.

Why bring Zab in for clichy,Im curious?

Yaya out Silva in and Yun for O Shea, struggling for a decent set up and need the WC badly.

Clichy will be rotated more than zab with kolarov back and zab gives more going forward.

Taking another chance with Falcao instead of Rooney

Thoughts on Azpilicueta? Would drop Jagielka for him, and Hazard out for Yaya. Would still have costa up front, Clichy at the back, and Arsenal cover from Sanchez.

Crazy to drop Hazard unless he is definitely injured.

clichy was rested in the last game surely he would be nailed on to start the next where zab may not

Ive read on here that pellegrini prefers kolarov against weaker teams and clichy in tougher games. Read that as you like.

Yeah heard that one before seems he sees clichy differently this year, could be wrong though.

    Any word on Hazards fitness????

Maybe but Monreal could play CB too and Debuchy moved back to RB. Just my opinion but I think by the way he was talking that Chambers will be rested very soon. Bellerin also could easily play.

Fantasy Football Scout also have him out of their predicted line ups.

The Guardian predicted line-up has both Sanchez and Hazard missing. This would be bad. I don't mind one of them being rested/benched but both would be seriously annoying.

I don't know about other teams, but I've often read their predicted line-ups for Sunderland and they are more often than not wrong. It may happen, but I wouldn't be worrying based on their predictions to be honest.

Yeah, last season they often seemed bang on but this year I find them rubbish missing obvious things like the liklihood Kolarov would get a run out for City v Leicester.

Will Arsenal really rest Sanchez though? Really?

Very strong chance, Wenger did say not so long ago his fitness was in the "red zone" and he was only rested against Galatasary. I'd say there's at least one game he won't start over the festive period.
Also I read this quote from Wenger,

He continued: “The difficulty is finding the right balance between rotation and the balance of the side without destabilising it. Therefore you sometimes have to limit the numbers of rotation.

“Secondly, it’s easier to rotate in the offensive positions than in the defensive positions, where the understanding of each other is very important. You try to combine and you also have to look at the individual fatigue factor.”
