Thinking of Ings out for Falcao or Giroud, favourable games ahead for both. Happy Christmas to ye all, hope all your wishes come true :)

Cresswell out anyway. No idea who for yet. Any ideas guys? I have Azpilicueta, Neil Taylor, Hutton and Chester. £5.6m to spend.

I need to get rid of Duff so will likely move on that.
Then there is the Chambers situation and Siggy's form that may also need addressing.
    Much to ponder!

got 2 FT, Duff and Cork need to go - not sure what i'll be doing - will wait till all games are over.

Just note for everyone - Cup starts GW18.

Demichelis in for Clyne is the plan

    Trippier or Davies?

Finally have a nice balance to my team. GW18 will only be the second time in 8 gameweeks where I WON'T be taking a points hit! Might even keep the extra transfer for GW19.

But current thoughts are Hart in for Forster.

  • Silva in for someone

Think I might take a hit and do Yaya and Siggy to Silva and Sterling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 974 ✭✭✭internet_user

    siggy out, probably sterling in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 413 ✭✭TaytoCrisps

Was planning Silva and RVP in for yaya and costa. Will wait and see what injuries pop up. 2 free transfers but will probably end up taking a -4 for no particular reason :)

tempted to move quickly on Siggy OUT for Milner, Siggy injury doubt and dropping tonight for sure, Milner will rise .1 minimum i imagine

Someone in for Boyd, Silva and Sterling most likely so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,734 ✭✭✭Fowler87

    Zab in for Wilson done

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 469 ✭✭hjkl

    Siggy to Silva

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,268 ✭✭✭IsMiseMyself

Siggy to Silva and maybe Cresswell to Zab. RVP was useless today but I'm hoping he'll fare better at home next week. Either way, he gets a reprieve until next week. XD

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

    Siggy to Downing I'm thinking

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,915 ✭✭✭✭menoscemo

Zabaleta in for Wisdom I think.
WBA have horrible fixtures over Xmas.

Baines is on his last chance at home to Stoke.

Why would you ever want to get rid of Boyd, for the $$$ he costs, he's a season keeper for the season imo.

Cork/Duff injured need to go at some stage,
RVP/Baines/Costa - might survive until the Jan WC.

Got 2 FT, tempting to do Yaya to Sliva to free up about 2m, decisions decisions. :(:(

Half tempted to get rid of Bony or Sakho for Falcao, have the cash?
Is it too quick to sign him?....he's only owned by 2%!!

    Siggy --> Sterling
    OR
    Cresswell --> someone else?

Remember they have Arsenal and Chelsea next 2 fixtures.

decided to hold on to Siggy and Baines, for this gameweek anyway. considered the kneejerk for -8 but with both having a nice fixture this gameweek i just can't really justify it, plan to bank the transfer and re-assess after GW18. squad is in decent shape i think despite a poor GW17(so far):

    Guzan Gilks
    Baines Clichy O'Shea Dummett Isla
    Sterling Siggy Hazard Sanchez Eriksen
    Costa Austin Giroud

    1.0m in the bank

It'll give me 8 strong attacking options until the New Year. I'll probably get Boyd as my 5th choice mid again in my wildcard, it'll only cost me .1m, .2m at most which I'd probably make on Silva anyway.

    Anybody thinking Yaya ----> Silva

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,879 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Yaya to Silva done, Yaya was only a blocker so the 2.1 I gained will help a lot.

Baines,Rooney,Moore, Yun all on the chopping block. Roll on Wildcard

    Anybody thinking Yaya ----> Silva

Yes seriously considering it as it will allow me to upgrade to a chelsea def.

Think I am going to do it tonight. It's a calculated gamble til the Wildcard is active. Frees up some cash, Silva will rise seriously over the next couple of weeks as well

Plan on banking transfer this week and getting in Hart and Benteke for their nice fixtures then.

Thanks for the suggestions mate. I've decided I'll just bank it (pending tomorrows action) and bench Cresswell away to Chelsea next gameweek. Most of my players have very nice fixtures next week so I'll wait until I have 2 FT's and then can make 3 moves for a -4 to get a City defender in.

    Baines out.

Will probably get rid of Siggy and bring in Downing

There is a reason he's only owned by 2%!!

And it is not because he is a great player;)

    Bony will start next week:D

    Clichy Azpil Wisdom Yun Duff...

1.2 ITB.. Need help with changes here, my defence is killing me!

the reason is cos he was injured / coming back from injury
I'll be doing Rooney to falcao if I have no more injuries
    and captaining falcao

let the tiger pack reassemble :D

    Considering a -4 to do
    Toure > Silva
    Baines > Zab
    Marney > Sterling

Really want Sterling barring injury tomorrow

Would leave me a front 8 of
    Silva, Sterling, Sanchez, Hazard, Downing
    Costa, Bony, Austin

Selection shouldn't be an issue over Xmas. Main thing missing is Chelsea defensive coverage but think they are starting to slow down.

Was 100k after GW13, currently 8,299 so keen to push on again. Any thoughts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

Siggy to Downing done. Sure, he's away to Chelsea next but his form is compelling and Siggy's is far from it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,642 ✭✭✭Deco99

Will Mata start v Newcastle? Chambers starter? Will hold onto siggy if he's fit. Ive schlupp, berahino dragging my team down.

Berahino to Austin GW19 (austin away next)
Schlupp to cheapo defender? Suggestions for GW18?

Have you a Villa defender? They have Sunderland (a) in 18 but then 2 home games against Sunderland and Palace. Hutton could be a good short term option. May get him in myself at some stage.

Siggy to Silva or Sterling? Undecided. Siggy's form hasn't been great and he's now possibly injured. Have Duff too who is injured but maybe that can wait? Downing maybe? Can afford them all and can just about afford Yaya. Already have Hazard, Fab, Sanchez and Boyd. Costa, Austin and Bony up top. Any suggestions?

You sort of have alot of eggs in the Chelsea basket. City's fixtures are too good to ignore though so I would get rid of Fab / Haz / Costa. I am currently mulling over swapping Silva in for Yaya. Not sure I go ahead with it as Id be serioiusly worried about damage Yaya can do

Did tadic to silva and bony to kane, should gain value anyway, 2 free transfer

True that but only have the one FT and with Siggy possibly injured for the next game maybe I should wait 'til next week to lighten the load in the egg basket?

Siggy to Silva done. Will weigh up my options after the Monday night game and possibly look at Clyne out for Terry for a hit depending on how Chelsea perform.

He has not proved to be 100% player.

I will stay away, and captaining him is not on my list;)

He is still coming from injury, 1 goal is not good enough at 10.5m.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 190 ✭✭Paddy_Irishman

Don't know if Falcao is worth pulling the trigger on just yet but he cud be an option soon if Costa picks up another yellow on Monday moving him one step closer to a 2 match ban. 10mil strikes choices are limited!

I'm in two minds, some advice or reasoning would be great.

    Siggy -> Cazorla or Sterling
    Or
Shawcross -> City or arsenal Def, dunno if Zaba will get rotated now!

    Just one ft!

Im looking at costa to giroud and siggy to sterling.

Despite his form, I'm considering bringing Baines in for Cresswell. I can afford any defender and already have Chelsea and (double) city defensive coverage
