It looks like that to me anyway. -4 seems to be the minimum.

No hits for me either. I've 2 FT and could actually field 11 without using either of them. Got fairly lucky on the injury/suspension front relatively speaking.

Gone for Baines and Lukaku in for chambers and aguero. Went for baines as have so much cash to spare now. Terry and Silva/ADM the next two I plan to bring in but theres bound to be some injury/suspension to ruin them plans.

William Hill clean sheet odds in ascending order...

    8/15 Chelsea
    EVS Arsenal
    EVS Everton
    23/20 Southampton
    13/10 Man City
    29/20 West Brom
    8/5 Man U
    9/5 Crystal Palace
    2/1 Stoke
    2/1 West Ham
    21/10 Swansea
    9/4 Sunderland
    5/2 Aston Villa
    5/2 Tottenham
    10/3 Burnley
    15/4 Liverpool
    5/1 QPR
    11/2 Newcastle
    13/2 Leicester
    17/2 Hull

Man City more than 4 times more likely to keep a CS than Newcastle which is my reason for a hit to get a City defender for Chambers.

Play safe with Kompany or take a risk with Zabaletta??

 You make me sick! My team is in tatters!

Krul, Chambers, Duff, Fabregas, Austin, Aguero and due to recent other injuries Chadli! Plan is to take a -8 and hope Chadli has had a great week in training to force his way back in!!

I am in the same boat.
I think Kompany wil play tomorrow and during all the Christmas period. Zab will be a rotation risk during Christmas so I am edging towards Kompany.
Are you considering Hart at all as a way in?

Good time to move him with Debuchy back gives time to see what will happen. City are still <40% to keep a CS this week but should easily pay itself back before WC time. Kompany would be the one to go for imo I would have thought he is likely to get more minutes than Zaba in the next 6/7 GWs.

I have a feeling Sagna will play this weekend and on the 28th but that's based on nothing but my gut feeling. I'm getting Hart in but that's more to do with Courtois's injury. Even with Kompany I'd be a little worried if he'll start this weekend as they kept a clean sheet without him Wednesday so no need to rush him back in.

Not sure if that helped :pac:

Yah, will probably get back on an Arsenal defender in Jan WC. I'm not going Harte as I have two playing keepers, even if it is Green and Hamer. Green has decent fixtures and I'm happy enough with my plan to trust him till Jan.

Whereas my cheap defenders have dodgy fixtures apart from Villa, so I'll then have Terry/Kompany who I'll play every week, probably alongside Hutton.

Kompany would be a cert but for his 4 yellows which mean I reckon he and Zab could both end up missing a game each over Xmas. But for the certainty that he'll play this week I'll probably have to go with Kompany.

Might get lucky and he won't get a yellow.

I'm thinking Zab might be the way to go if you have subs who you'd be happy with stepping in if he's rested. He's got more about him going forward and if he is rested for a game out of the next few, once you have a playing sub to come in anyway it would probably be worth it cos if he is rested he's unlikely to come on for a cameo at the end.

Yeah, Zab could even miss more than one I suppose. He could also score two goals!!

Kompany will start every game if fit in my opinion. And Pelegrini has said he's fit for this weekend so I'd be pretty certain he'll start.

For this one week Wisdom. In the £5m+ bracket Azpi or Debuchy.

Starting every week in an attacking position for Chelsea, 7.7 isn't actually that high. He hit the post and linked up well with Hazard in the first half last week. Now they're against Hull who've put in some abysmal performances recently.

it's high when you compare to what his points return is, on average he has gotten 3.1 a game, the likes of henderson who is 1.7 cheaper has a way higher average, Boyd at 4.5m average is 2.9, do you think a player who is 3.2m dearer is worth it when on average he is getting 0.2 higher than a player like boyd?

    Copper_Pipes prediction for GameWeek 16

Last Gameweek it was RVP and the previous gameweek it was Aguerooo. link

This week my faith lies in Eden Dzeko.

I would have thought that if you aren't going to captain him the funds are better used elsewhere. I am planning on bringing him and captaining him over Hazard marginally better option imo.

yeah won't be captaining him this week or next few but it's this week I'm fearful of it going wrong for me......
current thinking is aguero to dzecko for free fellaini to yaya next week
If I buy Costa this week I'll be taking a -4 next week as either him or Rooney will go for dzecko as well as yaya coming in
so in effect bringing Costa in this week will be a -4
unless yaya were to get suspended of course
    aaaggghhhh my head hurts

Had Aguero, have dropped Walters and brought in Hazard, also dropped Berahino for Dzeko and Kane. Think Kane at 5 mil is value.

Yeh as long as Kane keeps starting he is superb value. Fingers crossed he doesn't go out of favour! The fans are definitely behind him hopefully he can return their faith!

Too many people look at stats like this and judge a player. I look to what a player could do in the future rather than what they've done in the past. If the fixtures were different I couldn't get him out soon enough but home to Hull after a loss and having come close on 2 or 3 occasions last week I think him +4 will out do Yaya this week anyway.

Definitely not worth it then either bring in Dzeko for the hit or leave the transfer until next week. I'm going to leave Dzeko for this week then bring him in next.

Spurs haven't scored in their last three games, better off spending the extra on Sakho or Cisse imo

dzeko would be a free transfer
the -4 would only come into play next week IF I sign costa
I may even bank the transfer yet and play boyd or wisdom !!!!
I'm in a good position this week with only aguero injured and moore prob not starting

His numbers are pretty good and suggest he will prove to be good value in the future. Its not like they are going to score zero goals every three matches from here on.

3 Manchester evening news reporters are tipping jovetic not dzeko to start up front so better hold fire on that one !!!!
    Silva in the hole..........
I'll prob end up bottling it and signing Costa for the week
take it from there next week
    thanks for the input
