    Yes.

Same thing with tidying up your **** after eating in a fast food place. People just leave it behind in this country like a bunch of filthy animals. Really annoying when you are looking for a seat.

UCD students do this all the time in the seating areas in the college, seen to think that it's someone's job to clean up after them . The sense of entitlement is sickening.

Rachel is Darina's daughter in law, I thought that was common knowledge :(

Anyway, as bad as her signature sandwiches are, I'll bet she doesn't skimp on a breakfast roll - no eggs, no beans, no onions?

My own fault for going to a large supermarket deli instead of a proper small shop that knows how to do a decent breakfast roll :(

A few years in the real world will sort that out for them.

Once she has the basher on there I suppose...

Saw a guy (60's or thereabouts), last weekend, leaving a table in a coffee shop like an absolute tip, butter wrappers strewn about, tea bag on table, and so on, just totally unnecessary mess.
FFS. I'd hate to see his house.

Also saw on a bus last week, a girl finishing a really smelly banana and putting the skin into the little bin marked 'used tickets'. Oh what a treat for the other bus users, and for whoever got to clean that out.

I just hate when people leave a mess, for someone else to clear up.

Simpletons who drive at 2 miles an hour because there was a bit of frost on their car that morning.

Simpletons who decide rush hour is the best time to drag an empty trailer behind their jeep on a busy road, driving so slow that everyone is going at 47km ph in a 100 zone.

Strangers who make ridiculous small talk on public transport early in the morning. I had to sit opposite an old man on the train this morning and he asked me where I was going "painted up like a porcelain doll at this time of the morning".

And I am annoyed most about the fact I lacked the ladyballs to tell him to go **** himself. Instead I gave him a civil answer and thus encouraged him to keep talking.

It's going to be one of those days

I drive to work and two days a week I give a lift to a friend. He's a good lad, but I don't wanna talk to people at 7am.

'you can't eat pizza at half ten in the morning'. I can and I will, has noone ever told you breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day?

Ahhh! I hate talking to people in the morning, just leave me alone for the first hour or two! My manager commented before that I am not a morning person and I was thinking I am til I reach the office!

Likewise the first line in my last report from the manager read "he is a VERY(!) reserved person". 100% correct, I'll speak when I want to, which isn't a lot, and especially not early in the morning.....or late in the afternoon....

Another TA; people who point out you are awfully quiet / introverted in front of others. How are you helping the situation by announcing it??!

I HATE that! I am quiet around people I don't know very well and those whom I don't like.

With my friends, classmates, certain co-workers, certain family members, I can be the life and soul of the party.

If I'm quiet around you, it's because I've no interest in becoming your friend.

People selling kittens. Cheapo morons. We have five that we re trying to re-home, and all I am concerned about is finding them good homes that are not just for Christmas, and then I go onto a website and see idiots trying to pawn off kittens for thirty quid. F.uck off and stop trying to make a quick buck.

    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceviche

Ceviche is fish that's not cooked but they use acid/citrus to make it safe.
    It's gorgeous.

And polenta is made from grains and is Italian

    Ah rich folk food!;)

Gave up on fish years ago because of the price;not worth it and am happy with potatoes and bread.

My granny used to work for Cadbury's and I have it on excellent authority that not once in the near 20+ years she worked there did she ever see a milk truck come or go from the factory.
She also worked for Tayto and tells me that Tayto and King crisps are the same things just put in different bags. D:

TA: I want beer but it's too cold out to trek to the shops and get some. I'm too comfortable right now. :(

EDIT: Cheers, LynnGrace for the kind words! :)

Ah but they process the milk in a different factory altogether.. there is one at Rathmore. Makes the chocolate crumb.. I only know this as I toyed with the idea of dropping in to see if i could cadge some chocolate!

I have STOPPED! Manic morning getting ready for the big weekend.. Jams to sort, pack, label, honey to jar....raffle prize to package prettily with thanks to the kind florist who gave me some clear cellophane..The big kitchen table is covered with stuff ready to go.... Exhausted! But can rest now quietly knitting and addling to stock all day tomorrow.. and cooked a great pan of potatoes to fry up and the chicken stew for the dogs.

Oh the gannet lady was in Dunnes again! There was a huge assortment at the fresh food reduced counter so I did well there, then sought the bread and cake reduced counter, hoping for a half price Danish or three (got four!)I know the assistant and we were chatting when the lady arrived. Never a word as she barges in and grabs..Most folk are so polite. Ah well

Don't be too hard on yourself, I believe it can work in some conversations, it depends on the context and style. It has to be delivered in a very specific way :)

I haven't had a lie in for 19 days...Saturday is my first one and I am very excited. A hair stylist who owes me a freebie can only do Saturday morning...so I either go elsewhere later and pay or get up and get a freebie. In effect, I have to pay for my lie in.
