just logged on to my favourite shaving online shop to begin building my pre-xmas order. I hope all is well and Chris is back up and running soon.

edit: ...and I'll happily wait, there has not yet been any online store I've ever dealt with that has been so professional and prompt in their service.

Can anyone tell me if the product whose link is attached below comes with the red blade holder or the red blade holder should be purchased seperately?

Awesome. My birthday is in a few days so I might actually get the aftershave I've been after.

But in non selfish terms, it's great that it's open again.

    Hi Chris,

Will you be getting in of the new ATT razor slants? Also, will you be getting in any open comb ATT razors?

Thanks Chris, I'm looking for the Atlas S2, I'll put the money aside for it. I bought the Kronos R1 a few months ago, loving it. ATT make fantastic razors.:)

Gentlemen, I am hoping you can help me. My husband has asked for a decent razor/shaving set for Christmas. He has a heavy beard and dry skin. At present he is he uses a Mack 3 razor and NO7 shaving gel and normally ends up with nicks and cuts.

I have no idea what to get. I had a look on shaving.ie and saw this

    http://www.shaving.ie/products/merkur-34c-hd-safety-razor.html

I also had a look at this

    http://www.shaving.ie/products/muhle-rytmo-4-piece-fibre-safety-razor-set-ash.html

Few questions does he need the brush if he used a shaving gel like No7 or should he use something else??

Max budget would be €100. Any advice welcome

First thing, when he ask for a decent set did he have a safety razor in mind?
Because safety razors are different from cartridge razors like the Gillette Mach3. Safety razors will have a small learning curve. This video explains it a bit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufG1dPmVo8Q&list=PL2DB6D82F52BA7608&index=6

If he did have a safety razor in mind and your budget is 100 euro then I recommend building your own set
The Merkur 34c would be a good razor to go with.
If he wants to stick with his gel then he doesn't need a brush but, if you want to get him one of the better creams or soaps from shaving .ie then you need to get him a brush too, I recommend this one http://www.shaving.ie/products/black-silvertip-special-iii.html
I'd recommend a cream like one from Taylors of Old Bond street. This one is nice, http://www.shaving.ie/products/taylor-of-old-bond-st-grapefruit-shaving-cream-bowl.html
You'll need the blades so, get a blade sampler,http://www.shaving.ie/products/50-blade-premium-selection-sampler.html
You could top it off with a good aftershave.
I'd also recommend getting a Styptic Pencil just incase, http://www.shaving.ie/products/styptic-pencil.html
