    I didn't see the part where they directed water at his crotch. I still can't see it. Give me the timestamp and I'll have a look. It doesn't change my point though; he was acting hyper-aggressively, and he was the one doing the shoving and pushing. Somebody, either him or somebody else on his driveway, threw a barrier over their heads as well. But, anyway, tell me where they squirted him with water; I want to see his reaction.

    Watching videos on youtube of this jobstown protest. Embarrassing.

    People who can't control their inner urge to join in a mob shouldn't be even attempting 'peaceful protest'.

    And this wasn't, by the looks of it, remotely peaceful. I'm seeing lads pushing other lads - other protesters! - around. The sure hallmark over boiling testosterone spoiling for a fight. A 'lady' slapping a garda before exclaiming 'where's my child?' while others cradle babies in their arms right up next to the heat of the argey-bargey. And what the **** was any responsible parent doing keeping their child in that situation?

    People need to get a grip.

    What the fcuk is a pro water taxer exactly? No one I know likes paying taxes but accept that it's part of how our society works.

    This is all getting ridiculous now on both "sides". Personally I think people should be more outraged over USC but it seems water rates are more contentious. By the way I've no problem with the principle of paying for water but do agree the whole thing has been a major PR fcuk up.

    It's also worth pointing out that the country seems to be turning a corner economically and things are most definitely improving, admittedly not for all yet. Whether that's down to the government is a different argument but some posts in here would have you think we live in N Korea ffs.

    You seem more interested in how he reacts than you do about the fact that they were encroaching on his property and wouldn't allow him to close his gate. And being sprayed by a high pressure water jet is hardly 'getting squirted' :rolleyes:

    Apart from anything else, I would have thought they were trespassing on his property. Did they get permission?
