€710 for me, sometime in November.

I love paying motor tax, though. Would pay it two or three times over if I could. I'm a sucker for a bargain. Great value for money. :)

You like paying motor tax, I'd say your the only one who does.

Heh....not far off! Ah no, on the weekends I get good bit of use. Not any where near enough to justify the madness, but I love the motor and can afford it for now!

    Only a slight bit.. :P

Although that said, much as I hate it, I can't really complain. I bought the car knowing it was gonna be €710 for the year, so just have to get on with it. :o

I do like the car, though... next car I buy is definitely gonna be post-08 though, that's for sure!

Is youtube or google+ down for anybody else? They were like that earlier too. But I thought they would be fixed by now. Both work fine on my phone though.

Is it? Where did the €400 figure come from, so?

What are you driving (if you don't mind me asking :) )

Damn must be something to do with adblocker or something, you gave me an idea I might fire up internet exploer to see if they work on that. I'm on chrome at the min.

    Ecopower but not Ecowallet :pac:

I hate this penalty for paying tax in 3 month installments.
I pay €422 every three months, annually it is €1496.
    That's a difference of €192!!!
    Ridiculous!

    As above

The 400 comes from tax being 280 for three months and 100 on insurance so its 380, so nearly 400, if you wana lob in the fuel pump ive to get also, then its 480

To be fair, the first fill was used to give people lifts/test drives so racked up a good bit of miles, then the remaining fuel was used as testing the new Rad, Friday came along and I went to Dublin for the weekend, back last night, that was another 3/4 tank and just filled it now again earlier, it's just as well I don't smoke or drink much :pac:

EDIT* Also yes, I am enjoying it quite a lot :D

Aaah... okay.. I think I'll stick with my €710 2ltr and dream about owning a 1.2ltr post-08 diesel some day... :P:o

I know it's a comment that's always often looked down upon (on boards), but I can't justify tax over €710. I think that's my personal limit for motortax.

Out of curiousity... anyone know what the tax is, off hand, on a Focus.. erm.. is it RS? or ST? (the 2.5ltr petrol one)? (post-08)

Also, does anyone know what the difference is in the bonnets on them? (some have a normal plain bonnet, others have a more aggressive boy racer bonnet.. that i actually like the look of).

I'd probably never, ever own one, but its been in my head for the last couple of weeks that I'd like one at some point..:o

Sure that's the main thing. As long as it puts a grin on your face, it's worth it :)
