No problem at all at all :) round two on the 900 is gearing up, and the 9-5 is getting a few bits done to it too soon :)

Checked my fuel pump there as I think it needs replacing. Its making a hissing noise but I can't pinpoint exactly where its coming from. Would that explain why the car has been chugging lately?

Have you changed your fuel filter?

    God I hope not.

Trying to upload a video of the pump making the noise.

If it's chugging along then it may be logging a fault with the ECU. I'd see if there are any codes stored before anything else.

A change from the usual bad stories from insurance companies, I just had a nice call from FBD.
Apparently I had 3 years NCB and not 2 and subsequently they refunded me 121e :)
Monthly payments have gone down from 95e to 77e. Happy camper today :)

It doesn't look like it's in great condition but as to whether it is working correctly is another thing.
Hard to tell in the video but I think you're best going to a mechanic at this point.

That's the plan. Normally I'd give it a go myself but I may be a tad out of my depth here. Too many possibilities. I've even located a replacement pump if needed

Been home 5 days and already heavily crippled with boredom, have the use of a Citroen c4 but can no longer hack the blandness & sh1tness of it!

So i'm off to purchase a lovely chape aul banger/fixer-upper in the morning, not going in with much faith, but if its able to drive and stop i'll take it! The way I see it, if its nct ready happy days i'll fire it through, and if not, it will keep me occupied getting it there.

Obvious hint: It's xud powered and floaty, can't wait :D

Damn insurance searching is a right pain.
I keep trying online and at the end sorry we cannot provide you with a quotation please call 1890******
Ring them up and go through everything and at the end sorry we do not do cover for a import or your car is a 1999 the oldest car we cover is 2000. One fella said your car is classed as a high performance car so we do not provide cover. It's a bloody 1.6 mivec not a Nissan GT-R.
I will have to ring a few more places tomorrow as they are all closed now.

Yarp, got a bangernomics one last year too, they're about the only sh1troen i'd pay for bar a DS, dunno what it is about them but they've always caught my eye.

Electrically it will probably be a nightmare but its a small price to pay for hydropneumatic suspension !

Hope noone snatches it before I get to it, but for some reason I doubt they will :pac:

Needs the slave cylinder pressurized so i can bleed it and then its moveable like, the rear suspension needs work, the drainage and bodywork, which ill be getting to, so it's about halfway!

My friend has an astra bertone which is in a serious state of neglect, I've always like them, she needs it for work and what not so when i have the money i might buy it from her for 4/500, keep it at work, and fix it up and add a few sensible bits, and sell it on!
