Lads I have a pair of HB3 (9005) bulbs here if any of you want them?
They are super duper white ones :)

Will do fog lights and some full beams in certain cars!

doh! If they were HB4 they would work as fogs for the Chaser.

I could get a quote of 700eu on e38 740 when I was 22, but for love of god I could not get anyone to insure me on Mx5.

On other topic, I am having a massive bones for mini cooper s lately. I am massive mother fecker, but for some reason I am so attracted to small/ish cars.

I've said it before but I'll repeat it, I'm 6'5" (1.97m approx) and c28 stone with size 13 H width feet. I've had 2 Cooper Ss and would recommend them to anyone with a soul. I've got poor hips, knees and regularly drive 250-300 miles with no pain but lots of smiles. If You get one, ditch the run flats.

Ordered new brake pads yesterday. Arrived today.

At the same time, JD Mazda rang me on Monday - a followup call after a service there earlier in the year. I asked for an estimate on a brake service, because I know it'll take me a full Saturday to do it myself because I've never done it before - and heard nothing back.

Possible the email got lost in the ether. It happens.

Couldn't afford to wait anyway, there're already signs of metal-on-metal contact on the back. Any longer and it'd be brakes and disks.

Please tell me this isn't hard?

    Front or rears?

Front are simple, rears require you to rotate the piston back in which can be a pain without the tool.
Take your time and it's a very simple job :)

Very easy. You might need a caliper wind back tool for the rears but you'll probably get away with a vice grips or a screwdriver or something. Read the manual if you have one :)

    Great minds think alike :)

I find a clamp and a circlip pliers works real well!

I've did it this way. Torture but doable if you haven't the winder....

You know I'm not fancy enough to own one of them :P Actually did I ever give you yours back?

Dartz. Make sure that you have the car really well supported too.

    This video will be helpful

To push back the fronts use a large G clamp I have with a small block of wood to sit on top of the piston.

No manual. Toolbox - well, I don't live too far from a Halfrauds if I get stuck for one.

And it's all four corners getting done because the front's are fairly worn too, so it's as well to do it and be done with it for winter.

Argos do a generic one with masses of attachments for €55. Aldi/lidl had them very recently IIRC

Edit, lidl have them for €20 on Monday

The OH drove the 156 tonight as I'd a glass of win with dinner.

After a few minutes of apprehension, he was "wow", "cool", "wow"

Lidl and Aldi often have them in. They call them Multi Purpose tools and you can get a small box of attachments for it.

I'm getting new alloys for the RCZ this weekend actually.

I've left it with my girlfriend in Dublin since Monday, I've been thinking about it more than her.

Welcome to the club...although and I'm serious on her, don't neglect your other half for cars, it'll lead to lots of rows

Christ no, not all, she has been around a lot longer, I wouldn't dream of doing so, but she knows how much I really love this car :)

Of course, I'd hate to see it unused in the garage for the week while I'm away. But who knows, come January she might* have her own...

Lads, anyone have any idea why the engine light would pop up on a MK1 Yaris? Mine popped up this morning, but there doesn't seem to be anything wrong performance/noise wise.
