Only got the car serviced 6 months ago and the dash is now showing up service again pain in the hole thought that would be it until next year.

is it on a fixed or variable service set up?

The last service I got was also the first service I got on the car own it a year.

Got a fair bit done to it including a few bits your man said weren't needed now but would be due soon in the the thinking of that would be it for the year. Certainly wasn't expecting it to be telling me go for a service 6 months and 5,000 miles later.

So I'm back from a round trip to sligo (again) car averaged 30mpg, and I wasnt taking it handy either, I took it easy for a while and it dropped

    Strange machine altogether :pac:

Flicking through done deal there and spotted this. Car is down as damaged repairable and the ad says it needs a track rod end  Very cheap too it seems dodgy or am I missing something.

Not bad going at 30mpg for a barge like that! :p I got 44 mpg on a trip in the Panda earlier where I wasn't gentle at all. :pac: If I did that in the Merc, it'd be in the early 20's.

Passing through Kildare tomorrow morning if you want a hand? Need to bleed my brakes too. There a bit spongey since I fitted a new caliper.

Just saw an ad for the Citroen C4 'Cactus' It looks like a concept car and its available now.

The interior looks impressive but the AirBump feature is a pure gimmick, they don't cover the areas of the door where I have seen some of the worst dents.

    Apart from the air compressor

Anyways, I'll do it myself, I've never done it before, so I'll figure it out

No air compressor, remember it wasn't sealing right and I had to do it without it :D

I was driving the OHs auto E200 earlier, and forgot I wasn't in the alfa.

Feck. Wanted to have a gander at the saab too. Not about next weekend I don't think. You should have a look a making a homemade pressure bleeder. Thinking of making one myself out of one of those weed killer spray bottle yolks and a spare cap from the breakers.
