Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was wondering, I know people have asked about pay- when I got the call my mind went blank, was luck I remembered my name - I know we get less while we are in garnerville does anyone have an idea as to the difference.... I just want to make sure I can afford something I'm in desperate need of

On one of the letters in the welcome pack it asks you to bring a change of circumstances form to the induction? Anyone else not have this form? So confused!

It was attached to the letter from the head of resources person- you would have sent the other form that was attached to confirm your attendance when we officially start

  • Registered Users Posts: 5 madams625

Haha definitely sent them them both away! Sure as long as it's filled out.

Made same mistake meself! I rang them and they said that loads of people send them that form and that they'll just pass on that they have your change of circumstances info already.

And as far as we know you're all 67/68?

Have to start wondering if they'll get to 65 now. Lady v you were at my PCA I think. Has our group all had calls?

I was? what makes you think that? yea all 67/68. I would say the 65/66 would be next. where about are you in the process?

  • Registered Users Posts: 98 ✭✭marfrig2014

I remember you posting after it and I think I recognised your description. You were last one in. I'm all done except for the call. Assumed PCA group would get calls together but must be a good number in intake 6 we don't know about.

At least I won't feel overdressed in my purple sparkly suit. :D

It would be slightly awkward if alwayshungry now appears at the induction with some extravagant getup and the belief that we were being serious (which we are - purple is definitely in at this time of year).

In all seriousness, I am going for a suit. I think it mentions 'smart dress' in one of the documents. At least if you are too smart you can dress down by taking your tie off, etc. Don't really have that luxury with a pair of jeans and a hoody.

At least you won't feel out of place. Fenners is sporting his mankini apparently lol

There's a really useful thread that shield started on page 2 "starting GV soon" he outlines what to expect, what to bring, great hints and tips some things I read and thought great idea lol. I'm almost certain he posted a pic of what you should be wearing to induction and your first days until you get uniform. Basically is suits for the boys and ladies you have the option of smart trouser suits or skirt/dress. Personally I have a couple of pencil dresses I'll be sporting when I eventually get a call lol.

Good luck my lovelies, enjoy and stay safe xx

Dekkers I've a lovely pair of grey kitten heeled Mary Janes you could borrow and a grey jacket. Just accessorise it differently or if you fancied I think the pink courts and belt would look awesome with that and a black jacket
