You should have shifted over real close to her. She clearly likes being close to people. :o

If this was the Scutterin' Luas, I could've given her the old earlobe-nibble and settled her hash quare lively!

And even when they do it normally with their mouth closed, any kind of wet sound drives me mental.

This was a couple of years ago, but that post reminded me. I was having a crap day at work, so went out to lunch, and sat peacefully by a window with a cup of tea, watching the world go by.
Until the guy who was sitting next to me started loudly slurping soup. Aargh, quiet moment completely gone. Ugh.

There's this couple with a kid that go shopping in Lidl at the same time I do every Saturday morning.

I have encountered them about 6 times now.

They spend the whole time walking around the shop loudly talking to their child, who's about 4 or 5
    "Sophie, put down the banana"
"No Sophie, Daddy doesn't need a new screwdriver"
"Sophie, don't open up the orange juice"

It's constant, it's unrelenting, it's loud and it's incredibly annoying.

I don't mind parents talking to their kids, but this feels like a show that's put on for the benefit of other shoppers.
A kind of "Oh, look at us being all parent-y, with our adorable little daughter" "Yes, that's right, we had sex together, and now we have a child - just look at us, aren't we incredible"

Poor kid, never heard her say a word, she obviously can't get a sentence in edgeways with the unrelenting loud and constant babble of her parents.

They annoy me so much I'm considering changing my shopping time. I'm actually worried that I will snap and shout "Look, will ye ever just shut the fcuk up for a minute!" at them in the near future.

At the end yer man was like "and that was Wrecking ball from Miley Cyrus" - fuuuuuck! :( I went home and flayed myself then bathed in vinegar... :(

Painful. I know the type. 'Shaddup, I don't want to know, and just talk normally to your child'.

(Let us know when Mr Big Man is out on the road shouting at children again, and Ill come knock him down with the Trivial Annoyance Mobile)

You know the thread "if you could kill one person..."? We should have a special TTTAY thread, if you could run over everyone who annoys you with the Trivial Annoyance Mobile, what order would you do them in?

Same as that wan, Taylor Swift, I'm going around humming her new song constantly. The radio is basically a subliminal message machine.

And if its from the shower of dickheads in Jersey, you will be wasting your time complaining:mad:

Ordered from Play.com, I remember having problems with them before. Might not bother using them anymore.

The next door nightmare is on a cleaning spree today, complete with loud dance music. Must be a state visit for that lazy bitch to clean house.

2nd trivial annoyance, new neighbour just let a couple of large dogs out to do some very large poops on the green, not even a pretence of cleaning it up. Just let em out to sh*t everywhere.

One evening, when it is dark, go out with a pooper-scooper and a plastic bag, fill up the bag and leave it at their front door, with a printed note saying

"next time, clean up after your own dogs"

Elect a clown... Expect a circus

When Irish people use "never" instead of "didn't" eg; "I never went in to see about those new insoles" - never in your life? Surely not!

"Just so it's not confusing make sure you put that in alphabetical order".
There's 2 items on the list.
It's so short it might as well say
    Michael
    John

    John
    Michael

But we wouldn't want to confuse the highly educated professional receiving the letter, no no.

People talking about the weather. Actually no talking about the weather would be ok, it's people making bleeding obvious statements to me about the weather that annoys me. Like just telling me "it's very warm out there now" - Sorry, you seem to have mistaken me with someone who cares. "It's raining" - I.Fúcking. Know. What is it about Irish people? Are we so socially stunted that we must hysterically update people on the status of the weather every 2 minutes? God forbid there might be an awkward silence or you might have to actually ask someone how they are or tell them how you are.

    It's lovely out now :)

They're unreal, a lot of 'em. I think all that cramming for exams fries their braaanes at a young age. :pac:

Being forced to interact with people who are clearly infected with a disease. Snivelling bástards. Should be forced to stay at home until they are germ free. In my perfect world, borrowing pens, licking envelopes, handling money etc would all be outlawed. In fact, people just wouldn't exist :)

My trivial annoyance is not eating a big enough lucnh, tried to hold off on eating my afternoon banana until 4 but scoffed it at 3, and now I'm starving, with no end in sight till 7 or 8 o clock

My tummy just said "grumble grumble" which aptly belongs in this thread as well I think
