The fact that she was so unprofessional quite shocks me.

The main receptionist is lovely, she's very discreet and professional. This one was what I call 'the weekend wagon'. She does Friday and Saturday. Won't be going there on those days ever again.

    Unresolved dreams.

Had a dream last night that I had tonsil stones - I saw a clip on youtube a couple of months ago and was obsessed about how gross they look. In my dream I could see them in the mirror and was dying to squeeze them out. But every time I started someone in the dream interrupted me, kids, dog, doorbell etc. Was just getting around to it, dream-me had mouth wide open, in front of dream-mirror, poised for the squeeze... when one of my (real-life) children calls out 'Maaaaaaammmmy....come heeeeere'.

I never made it back to sleep and have had an empty, I'm-missing-out-on-something feeling all day.

Very trivial and just mildly annoying, but luckily the worst one that's happened to me so far today.

It means you are in for a big windfall, and a move to foreign parts for a new job, most likely by the end of this month.

I was dreaming before the alarm went off. I was petting the dog, when the alarm went off I woke up and realised I had been rubbing my husband's head!!

I dreamt I was eating the biggest marshmallow in the world, I woke up and the pillow was gone:D

Interesting....I DID find a fiver at the bottom of an old handbag this morning, I already live in foreign parts and am starting a new-ish job at the start of next month! You're good at this dream-interpreting lark....

That just means you're in Ireland and recently graduated from third level...

Oh sounds like the receptionist at my doctor! Super nice when the doctors are there, otherwise she's a complete cow.
I went the other day and as I left I paid €60, she said you owe another €60. I said I didnt.

Her: You'll have to pay it, it's on the system, you can't just not pay for the service. Did you think it was free surgery?
Me: When was this other €60 from?
Her: It says todays date. It's for X and Y.
Me: Ive just paid you for today and I'd rather you didn't announce to everyone what I've just had done, thank you.
Her: Well it says €60 twice for today. I'm telling you what you had done, you owe €60 twice. Now will you be paying cash or card? (big bitchy smile)
Me: Ive been here once today, you've told everyone what I've done and how much it cost, and Ive just paid you for it. How can I owe another €60 from today??

Went back down to the doctor and he said she just entered it twice, she always does it. Went back out to her and she just waves at me.

OH JESUS! How did you not lose the head with her??

It's not just with patients by the way. I deal with medical secretaries a lot through my job and every single one of them either has an attitude problem or they're power mad.
I'm sure there are lovely medical secretaries out there but I have yet to meet one.

Lethargy/weariness. For some reason 3 of our cats just would not let me be last night. It was like shift work with them coming in 1 after the other to roll around on me during the night. Maybe they were feeling chilly or I'm dying or something. The smartest one goes to an alternate house some nights, we refer to it as 'his other family'. Or the family that don't pay for his food, keep, veterinary bills and pet insurance.

I always knew you were a cross dresser. Seriously though, get on the threadmill and lose them moobs. They're nearly bigger than mine at this stage.:mad:

It might be something like this: this neighbour of my sibling's in an apartment block, opened a tin of prime cat food, and emptied onto the concrete edge of the grass strip. The food was a solid gelatinous square block. The cat ate it like that, and cleaned it up. When I enquired was it her pet, the neighbour said that it 'stays around sometimes'. It did'nt belong to anybody in particular this neighbour knew of.

I had a dream a few weeks ago that it was my birthday and I was eating a big chocolate cake.

I woke up with a spoon in my arse.

He might be slumming it, we feed ours human grade tinned food. He's probably enjoying the cat equivalent of a McDonalds 1 euro value burger at his other residence.:D We give them treats of raw food like salmon, chicken and mince as well as cooked chicken and the odd bit of tinned salmon or tinned tuna. There's nothing better to be gained elsewhere for him, I think sometimes when they've been homeless they like to have a backup home lined up.:)

Wanting new ink and having little money and a low pain tolerance.
Also it's Monday and I'm broke 'til Wednesday. :(

It can stay with them. We've a fat yoke of a cat, a big furry bear really and the most lovely natured, sweet and passive cuddle monster you could ever meet - the most he will do if another cat attacks him is bat him away without extending his claws and close his eyes but he's a fúcker for going through bins. He could have a mega portion of turkey mince or tuna but he'll go through a bin for a day old crust of pizza - hard to be angry with him when he looks at you with those, "What? If I dont scavenge I starve" eyes :)

Overly attached mothers aka dangerous drivers, they're usually the ones in people carriers, who stop dead in the middle of the street with a tail of cars behind them to let their precious little brat out directly outside the shop so he doesn't have to walk a step more than absolutely nessessary.
She continued to sit there after she let him out too until the cars started sounding their horns, she drove to the end of the street, round the roundabout and back up the street where she parked for about half a minute with her hazzards on, in the middle of the street again directly across from the shop.

Then a car space became free a little bit up so she took off again and parked in that. I would have loved to have yelled at her but I had to settle on my best dirty look.

Her twin, by the sound of it, including the 'smile' though I haven't witnessed this one going that far, she would be capable of it.

    Venting/looking for advice.

Couple of kids on the road, one girl about 9, and 2 boys, about 9 and 7.

The boy is winding the girl up 'Your ma's a tramp and I hop she dies' stuff like that, going on for ages. The girl is getting upset and pushes him. Thats the end of it, the boys run off.

Few minutes later the girl is sitting on a high wall, about 7ft high eating crisps, waiting for the boy next door to come out. A man comes down the road with the 2 boys and starts roaring at her 'If you ever touch my kids again.......Dont ever let me hear of you laying a finger on my kids.......They did nothing to you.....etc etc etc. Do you hear me?? I said DO YOU HEAR ME???? IF I find out you've laid a finger on them again, Ill tell your parents, and then the next time the guards. Are you listening????'

I coughed to make sure he saw me at the window, I know, nosey bitch. Then he strolls off. I know the girl a little bit to see, so I went out and she was bawling her eyes saying her mam is sick and the boys were saying I hope she dies. I told her I heard what they were saying but didnt know why the said it.

I told her to go home and tell her mam what happened, and she said she doesnt want to worry her :(

Tempted to go around to the guys house himself, Jesus you'd swear she was after kicking lumps out of his son and she was 20 years old the way he was shouting at her. I dont really fancy my chances with him though :o I told her to tell her dad when he gets off work and ill tell him what happened.

I wouldn't get involved. If daddy has to come out and shout at a little girl because his little baby angels are upset then you're wasting your breath. Only a piece of **** would speak to a child the way that he did.

I'm kicking myself that I didn't go out sooner. When I did he was gone. I wasn't going to start yelling at him or anything, but I would have probably told him to go talk to her parents about it. Anyway, another day on the street. It's a lovely estate but it's like Eastenders sometimes!

How sick is the mother? If it was a flu or something like that I would probably go talk to her instead of the guy. If its something more serious and her dad is around talk to him. If its something more serious and theres no dad, I'd be inclined to report it to the guards. A grown man threathened a small girl. I personally wouldn't go around to his house on her behalf, he sounds like a bully.

She was too upset at the time, I didn't want to ask. She just said her mam isn't well and that's why the boy was saying I hope she dies etc.

She said her dad was at work, so I told her to tell him when he gets home and he can call to me if he wants to know what I saw. I know if I told my dad that story when I was 9 he'd think I was lying to get out of trouble so I just wanted her to know that I saw what had happened.

I won't go around to his house no, I'm sure she'll be around after dinner and I'll ask her if she's ok or if she told her dad. She was really worried about him calling the guards, I had to laugh!

    Idiots blindly following idiots.
There's a fella on facebook with a video doing the rounds, something to do with planning permission from DCC. He very clearly does not know as much as he thinks he knows but he has all these followers bigging him up, telling him to stick it to Da Man...
And everytime I look at facebook someone has shared the video.

People who incorrectly use the term 'sour grapes' when trying to make out that someone is bitter or a sore loser about something. It should only be used when someone puts down something they can't have!
