Ok I know I posted about this before but Mr Price in Blanch have gotten in more Rogz collars- starting at 4.99 with the largest ones going up to 6.99. The same collars in the new MaxiZoo across the road in the retail park start at 8.99!!!!

Speaking of Maxi Zoo in Blanchardstown, 25% off everything to celebrate their opening. But if the collar story above is anything to go by, the discount will only bring their prices down to where other stores are.

Oh i I didn't know they had 25% off!! I had my eye on a dental kong but it was twice the price compared to amazon so didn't bother - wouldn't have bothered with the 25% off either . I find them great for pizzle and their biscuit treats but apart from that I never really buy anything - they're just to expensive? Hopefully we'll get a price war now between them and PetStop!! :p

Popped into mr price after seeing this, but no small collars in. So picked up a couple of tough looking toys. Figured I might get a day or two out of them.... 30 mins - why do I bother!

Grab One have a deal on at the moment for Maxi Zoo. €12 will get you €20 so not a bad little deal. Might get some new toys for them.

    £7.52 Amazon (small, green 70cm x 50cm x 24cm) (as opposed to £25 on Bronte Glen website).

    Check other colours and sizes e.g. small, blue 70cm x 50cm x 24cm is £9.37

Place an order over £25 for free delivery.

That link isn't working for me odckdo, can you fix it? If it's vetbed, at that price it'll have to be got (to add to the mountain of it already here :o)

DBB, I updated the link in my original post - it is for a robust waterproof bed - the small green one.

Just a quick check of their vet bedding the small green one 51cm x 75cm - reduced from £12 to £4.72

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007XWRAZ6/ref=twister_B00GHJRFZQ

For their vet bedding check other colours and sizes as some have been reduced while others have not e.g. green XL 100cm x 150cm reduced from £30 to £25.90

    Hope that helps.

New Barking Heads wet dog food launched. Not really a bargain but for BHs fans.

It is on sale in Pet World Direct for the month of October (aswell as the dry food). I think they only have the new wet food on trial so only available in their Athlone store but can be got online:

I have literally just seen this now! We live southside and have been to a few blessing of the pets, (I find they are mostly in CofI churches). Basically it all happens during their service (mass). It is brillant and would recommend it to everyone! The last one we were at someone had a snake!! The rev had her golden retriever on the alter and had a photo of her other golden projected on a screen (as apparently she wouldn't like the big crowds!!)

Whats the deal for turkeys in Supervalu - if its in the cork examiner, does that mean only cork stores??

Oh and not a bargain, but was in the Pet Discount Warehouse in the M7 BUSINESS PARK in Naas this afternoon, they now have Arcana and blast! what was the other one - one of the high end foods - not Taste of the Wild ... did it begin with A - flip! sorry! and strangely they dont have a website, so I cant check. Their stock of quality dog foods has really improved (it used to only have James Wellbeloved) since I was last in there... they also now stock the tubs of Naturediet

It was actually sent out as a text alert by Supervalu to some of their customers and the Examiner picked up on it. As fas as I know it's not limited to Cork.

I'm a veggie but Mr Pumpkinseeds and the 4 felines are partial to a bit of turkey. It's hard to beat the turkey crowns from Lidl at 9.99, lots of meat on them and a lot less hassle than cooking a full turkey. We got one last Christmas and another one at Easter. Not sure when they get them in but definitely a good buy.
