was in Home Stores and More today and got one of those sheets that cover the back seat of your car. I find the ties usually break on them but at a cost of €5, down from €10, it was worth it.

I resisted the temptation to buy another dog bed as one of ours usually chews them.

You mean at the price of €5 - they were never €10 to be fair lol - HS&M scammers! :p! I didn't buy any pet stuff but did get a new cover for the bbq which was badly needed. :D

Im sure the one I have was reduced - Im a sucker for a 'reduced tag'. tut tut scammers indeed.

I was very tempted by the mini sofas for dogs that you put on your own sofa and has a flap that falls down to cover the front of your sofa but resisted as didn't think it would fit a greyhound.

So bought myself two pillows there were half price instead but may be they never were !

Vetuk.co.uk have a some bargains in their BH weekend sale. I got coats with led lights in them for £5! Postage is €7.50 for 2 day DPD so mightn't be worth it unless you're buying other stuff.

:( They must have sold out of the coats - only sent me one of them!

Lidl have led collars today!! :D I got some last year for €9.99 on zooplus and they have similar ones for €5.99 - like a rubber tube with leds in. Only a few left in Tyrellestown/Blanch but loads of "collar" style ones.

I know you can get it cheaper if you buy in bulk but I noticed today that Dunnes are stocking Naturo trays - €1.50 for the rice ones and €1.60 for the grain free one. Handy if you don't fancy going to the pet shop. This was in Blanchardstown so not sure if other branches are stocking it. Kind of amusing to buy grain free food in the supermarket lol :p

The handheld stick Dyson animal is €250 in aldi tomorrow. The folks have one, not great if you've a lot of carpet but excellent for wooden floors. It's usually €400-€500

Oh now that you mention it DID had red Miele's on display yesterday when I passed but I didn't check the model. Love my Miele! I have allergies so don't want to mess around dumping dust etc :P

Picked a couple of these up in Dealz (Blanch) for 1.50 each, normally between 7-9euro
Might be worthwhile just to keep the dogs up to date, they also had the one's for smaller dogs

Eh didn't a Bob Martin flea product kill a load of cats at some stage?? I don't use spot-ons myself because my dogs don't have fleas and they're not a preventative.. But if I needed one I certainly wouldn't use a Bob Martin one(!)

If they contain permethrin, definitely don't use them if you have cats in the home. Same goes for flea collars with permethrin.

Oh god don't touch anything made or sold by Bob Martin. It's a terrible brand and has caused nothing but problems on dogs that have been treated with Bob Martin products.

Anyone spotted any good deals on large pet food containers? Having difficulty finding some that are sturdy and air tight.

I have a curver 20kg pet food container. They are pricey but are the only container I have come across that holds a 15kg bag of
Dog food in the bag. I like to keep the food in the bag in the container

^ I have the same curver one years. I'm actually on the lookout for something myself as I've bought treats on Zooplus in bulk (20kgs) and want to put them in the shed but not have them get damp. I was sure Home World in Blanchardstown had them but when I went in they'd taken all the pet stuff away again - this time to make room for all the xmas stuff! :( I might just get another curver one!

Out of curiosity, what treats did you get?

    :o

I got "puppy and training bones" and tripe sticks from zooplus. I'd been getting the small bones and chew bars/tandems from maxizoo's pick and mix 1kg at a time so decided to get them online since they're almost half the price!

Yooooooooooo just picked up a (lone) curver container in TKMaxx in Blanchardstown - €22.99 :D Some of the other branches may have them? The clip for the scoop thing was broken but not bothered. Thank you xmas shoppers - I was too impatient to park in my usual spot near Starbucks with the queue of cars down that end and parked down near TKMaxx instead lol

Woop. Will try TKmax so. The woodies ones look good, but €39.99 seems like too much for a container for me.

I thought i had lucked out on Amazon, found some reasonable ones, went through with Parcel Motel and then the order was cancelled

Tk that is brill! I have mine now 7+ years. Think I threw the scoop in bin as I am using a burns cup! I fit two in a single kitchen cupboard.

:o I was tempted to ask if they'd knock a few € off with the clip being broken but didn't have time lol!! The scoop in the other one was never used either. I must have the other one 4 or 5 years.
