    Krul - Loris

    Ivanovic - Hutton - Dummet - Kaboul - Clyne

    Ramsey - Silva - Fabregas - Sigurdsson - Larsson

    Naismith - Rooney - Costa

    Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of using my FT to swap Silva out and bring Sterling in? Or should I get rid of Hutton/Dummett or even get rid of Rooney because his price will probably drop.

This might be the best time to cash in on Hutton. Dummett was benched for a game where they let in 3 -- I don't think he's lost his place yet.

Would it be madness to ditch Ramsey? It's just most teams around me have him, most midfields have at least two of the same players and I think someone like Silva might out score him this season

    Ramsey out anyone?

    He's had one bad game...

Pleased with my 63 this week and have decided to use the WC as too many of my side are likely to drop in price, new side looks like

    Krul, Myhill
Azpil, Pieters, Lovren (or maybe Moreno) Moore Gibbs (good route into Arsenal defence 5.3)

Ramsey (May move to Silva) Fab Sterling Siggy JWP

    Aguero Costa Anichebe

Looking at bringing in two 4.5 defenders as part of my WC. I'm between Collocini, Taylor and Wilson, who should I go for or is there anyone I've missed?

It's crazy that people are so impatient in this game. Once a player bangs 3 goals and scores a blank the next GW, people instantly get rid.

Eriksen out, sterling in. Chambers only man I really need to transfer but only play 3 at the back and other 4 def are starters so in no rush tbh. Holding on to Rooney for QPR at least, the transition to a more City heavy team will happen once they've played Chelsea

Personally I wasn't specifically referring to this game.. I just don't think he will have the impact he had last season and am considering replacing him with someone like Silva in the future

He has had 3 bad games in my eyes.
He scored well in 2 of them but I'd prefer if he was getting more chances tbh.
He's not going to survive on last minute heroics.

Would it be madness to take a -4 to get rid of Dzeko?

He's got Arsenal next and mightn't start

Be mad to consider getting rid of him yet i think. I am keeping an eye on him tho, moreso because without Wilshere playing today, he didn't get in and around the box as much as in the first 2 games - were this to continue i'd be pretty quick to stump up the extra cash for Alexis. All hypothetical tho as of now

Yeah I was a little worried at his lack of getting into the box today but Ramsey seems like the player you can't attach stats and field position to so much. He just has this "knack" though. I'd rather if Sanogo wasn't the front man either.

Question: My wildcard is active, if I keep transferring in players due a rise every night, do I get all the price rises until the next GW?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,795 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Ramsey is a player who will get 10 points on a number of occasions, I just think there's a number of those players this year and I feel I've to try I switch between them getting each at their time of peak scoring potential (fixtures)

With Arsenal having a tough run of fixtures I feel I can only have 1 attacking player from them for that spell and I'm sticking with Sanchez.

your player has to go up 0.2 for you to get a value increase of 0.1...

Only if they rise twice. If they go up the once and you transfer them out, you only get the price you bought them at

    Wildcard Activated!

Current thinking below. Players in bold are definites.

    Krul - Foster
Jones - Dier - 3*4.5m def (Taylor, Yoshida, Hutton)
    Ramsey - Fabregas - Sterling - Siggy - Ward-Prouse
    Aguero - Costa - Austin

    Any suggestions?

you need to have a player and him to have risen 0.2M before you can sell him on for a profit. that profit would be 50%, 0.1M in this case. a profit of 0.2M would require a rise of 0.4M, etc.... it is possible to try and benefit from this with your wildcard, but be careful i already used my wc and didn't manage to profit whatsoever from it, price change mechanism has changed this year and it takes alot more transfers in after the first 0.1M rise for a player to go up by another 0.1M within any given gameweek. so far no player has risen more than 0.2M in a gameweek, with the only 3 players (i believe) to rise twice in a gameweek, Sigurdsson, Jovetic, and Eric Dier.

    hope this helps

    Thanks.

Two weeks until the next GW so maybe a few will rise twice.

Jovetic actually rose .3 last gameweek as he had fallen to 7.9 and is now 8.2.

I'd suggest putting Siggy in bold straight away!

I have JWP on my bench but you're better off with a 4.5m midfielder, less hassle each week and prevents having too many points on the bench.

Then downgrade one of your 4.5m defenders to a 4m defender (moore/duff) and upgrade Dier to azpilcueta. Dier isn't guaranteed a game when spurs are full strenght and they conceded 3 today.

bring in Ivanovic - catch the rises if any

    Thinking about switching:
    Mata -> Lamela
    Dummet -> Moreno

I have 1.0 in bank. I still have Rooney in sqad and I will keep him becouse of MU fixtures. Mata price is going to fall and Spurs have nice 2 games against Sunderland and WBA. Thinking about Moreno, cuz he showed his offens ability and Liverpool have easier games ahead (cleen sheet). What do you think?

That will be a squad for 4 GW:

    DeGea
    Debuchy, Moreno, van Anholt
    Lamela, Sterling, Ramsey, Fabregas
    Costa, Rooney, Naismith

Myhill - Hutton, Wisdom - Siggy

    So? Sugestions?

I must have been watching two different games for the first two games... The only time he got in and around the box, he scored...i.e he didn't get there that often.

He's dangerous and he'll be in my team again but I transferred him out after watching him in GW1. GW2 was a kick but City, Spurs and Chelsea in the next 4 aint great... and dare I say, going away to Villa won't be super easy either :D

    Cheers.

Yeah I reckon Siggy will be bolded.

My plan is to rotate JWP/Austin as my 11th man each week.

Azpilicueta is a good call. Agree that Dier is possibly on borrowed time.
