    That's pure ignorant.

Will ST fogs fit a non-ST focus bumper?

As long as it's the facelift bumper you have. Mk1.5 (late 2001 - early 2005).

I'd say that happened by scrapping off kerbs too often. Bad place to put a spare wheel really.
Also maybe you should have told the driver he might be tottally unaware the wheel is in that condition.

Maybe it's the angle of the shot, but that is a stupid place to put a spare, looks way too low!

The tyre was fairly worn down plus the wire was the whole way round, I'd say the driver knows....

Got my renewal for the Yaris today as a named driver with a crash from 2011, €636. Going to chance them again about transferring to an E39 and if not I'll try Aviva and see if they take me on the Yaris with an accident, which their site says they more than likely can. If not I'll be going shopping on November 17th! :D

For those of you who don't know, halfords have autoglym shampoo at 6 euro a litre, you must reserve it on line though. 3 for 2 on it as well!:D

I was sleeping all day yesterday, so time for a status update:

I did 5127 kms in my E46 in the last two weeks.
No problems apart from the wheel sensor (part is still on warranty for 2 months), and a faulty MAF sensor which I'll replace soon enough.

Averaged 8.4l/100km during my whole trip according to the fuel bills (I collected each and every one)

Totally in love with her. Turning her into a major project which will swallow 1000s of euros, but will be worth it.

Such a shame that it took 10 years for her to find someone who'll take good care of her.

I've finally become attached to it. I don't want to sell it. Ever.

Went to fit the fog lights today, but I'm missing a clip thing, kind of a swivel joint is what I'm told. Looking at other fog lights for sale they don't come with them, so it must be a seperate clip. They are on focus' with the standard fogs aswell. Anyone know what they're called, or can find one online?

Replacement D585 ignition coils finally on their way. Will probably arrive Monday/Tuesday next week or so. With a little luck, I can fit them myself.

E470 for the shipping, including coils however. Owwwie......

You should re-size that pic as it's too small so people know what they are looking at.

ToastedPickles took a look and drive of this http://cars.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/bmw-5-series-2-5-litre-petrol/7552348 for me today, some man! He said it was all good to him, there was no noises/squeeks and the box was good.

Very tempted to have a look at it next Friday and see what the story is with it, possibly buy. What do ye make of it?

How did he test drive it with no NCT?

It looks good but I don't like automatics, that is just my own personal opinion.

I never did before until I drove the E39 Auto, very smooth and seems to kick down when you want it to. Perfect for where it will usually live.

Yeah it does look great, exact spec I wanted too! I want the estate as I think they look way better and will be handy out for Airsoft and Road trips, 2.5 to boot too!
