Quick, get on to HMRC, I'm sure they'll use that as an argument ;)

    Why not?
This ruling opens up the possibility of these 'loans' being pursued.

Will they cough up or will they say 'hold on, this wasn't a loan it was my salary''

Me you and the dogs in the street know they aren't loans but they legally are until the courts find otherwise, testimony from the loanees could change the whole game again.

So I'd hold off on the whole vindicated stance just yet, this saga has a long way to run.

Why vent your frustration at Celtic and the commonwealth games instead of HMRC?

I find it odd they can organise a get together like this to make a stand yet can't do the same with the people running the club.

First i've heard about it tbh - for all the issues i have with the games, this isn't one of them.

My feeling is it is all bluster you may get a few idiots but most won't entertain it.

If you knew anything about how they have structured the ownership of the club then you would know standing outside protesting would achieve nothing.

But I would imagine standing outside of the stadium with there money rather than paying to go in would hit the right people in the structured ownership

You would think so wouldn't you but the problem there is it is believed that if they can use the lack of money to do it our stadium will be bought by the faceless men behind the scenes and leased back to the club.

so get screwed anyway but if they are voltures they will probably take your money and the sell and lease it back in the end anyway.

I really think for the sake of the fans a heavy stand should be made there is an element of gamble but I think in the long run the fears will be realised and you are just delaying the inevitable

Oh I agree with you I myself won't set foot in the stadium or buy any merchandise while this board and owners are in place.
I also think the boards ticket pricing for this season may backfire and they will pay the price

As always with Rangers these days, interesting time ahead. I think a few bad results or the falling behind of Hearts/Hibs etc. in the league could be the straw that breaks the camals back for the rest of the fans

I can't see them falling behind Hearts or Hibs. Teams in the Scottish Championship are hardly on a level with the mighty Ventura County Fusion!!

And with 3 centre halfs and Black and McCullough playing DM, it'll be a walk in the park.

I actually thought a demo would be planned at the SFA or HMRC offices and on another time than the opening ceremony.

Not sure where the ET get that from, all I know is that someone on Follow Follow mentioned the idea but was shot down rather quickly. There is (apart from the title) also nothing in the article stating that a demonstration will be held at Celtic Park.

That Derby friendly showed that McCoist still hasn't got a clue and will never get it.

No tactics, just lump it forward and hope that Boyd or Miller do something special.

I see Alan Stubbs was in attendance, he must have loved that with the prospect of the game on tuesday.

Said it before & I'll say it again, McCoist will never produce a team more than the sum of its parts.

Dont think there is much of an alternative at the moment though. Nobody else would take the job unless they are on a downward spiral.

Rangers V Hibs in the Petrofac Training cup

Lewis MacLeod put rangers 1-0 up with a nice finish

Decent goal yeah, but once again this is utter, utter ****e football :(

The following season is going to be hard to watch.

Been OK in patches but not enough happening from our midfield and we are giving up possession far to easily

I'm gonna make a fortune this season on betting on BTTS.

I'd also stick a few quid on one of the opposition being sent off every game. Ref almost ripped his pocket off he was so eager to get it out tonight.

Probably because he dived in reckless with a tackle from behind.

Deserved a red card there, purely frustrated.

    2-1 Law.

Hibs player goes down, no real contact I think, Law gets the ball and curls it past the Hibs goalie.

Hearts manager saying they are preparing for the weekend by training 10 vs 11 because they know what's likely to happen if they are on top. If it wasn't so disgustingly corrupt it'd almost be funny.

Good, I hope we select our favourite ref just to be sure.
    Can't have it end 11 v 11.

Pretty clear that he's playing mind games, nothing more.
Of course to some that is proof of some conspiracy :pac:

    Chris McLaughlin ‏@BBCchrismclaug 3m

Charles Green tells @BBCSport he is close to securing deals with investors to put around £10 million into #Rangers. More to follow.

I thought he had nothing to do with RIFC?

    EDIT

Got a good laugh out of this.

How many players have been sent off when Ally McCoists team were losing or drawing in the last 2 seasons?? How many penalties were they awarded using the same criteria??

    Honest mistakes I suppose?

Anyone wanna do a sweepstake on when the Hearts player gets sent off/Peno against Hearts??

Anyone who keeps going on about this needs to grow up!

The Hibs player although a tad harsh, going by the rules was a red card the other night. The fact Hibs are not appealing the red card, shows that they even feel it was a red card

Some finish to that match. Probably for the best for Rangers though, they've coasted through the last two seasons, a challenge will do them much more good than another year coasting through a lower division.
