And that is what is happening now the sale of season tickets is going at a snails pace and Fridays announcement has swayed many who were still willing to give the spivs time. Even the crowds at recent games are down outwit yesterday. Yes the attendance figures show good numbers but as season tickets are included then they are bound to.

That's good. I won't lie, of course it's funny seeing the rivals in a mess but at the same time I hate seeing scumbags effectively steal from football fans.

More stories involving suspect corporate governance today.

Easdale should be removed along with Somers and Wallace. Disgraceful carry on from all 3

Where is the SFA and SPFL in all this? Heads buried hoping it sorts itself out or writing out another 5 way agreement. ..

No one wants this but if admin is the cost of starving this lot of crooks out then so be it

Whilst the current fit and proper persons test is in place, it will be very hard to stop a changing of the guard where you are not necessarily better off. Wallace had pedigree but is now facing criminal charges. Dave King is a tax cheat etc

The Scottish game needs more stringent ownership rules in place

Whilst King would not be my first choice. Due to what happened in SA. We at least believe he won't rob us blind the setting up of the UoF is very tight it it's legalities. We are between a rock and a hard place. I and the vast majority see starving them out as the only road that we can take. Rangers fans have been told they have to do something from all corners that's what is happening.
Don't get me wrong I agree totally with you that much more stringent rules about ownership need to be put in place. It seems the suits have learned nothing from what's gone on.

Agreed. Bitter rivalry aside, what's happening at Rangers is awful for the fans. Seems to be crook after crook involved.

New rules state that clubs sliding into administration trigger an automatic 15-point penalty, rising to 25 points if it happens again within five years.

Would only be a 15 point penalty as this would be the new clubs first admin event. Would still be a mountain to climb in what's looking like a very competitive Championship and will put the new club/old club argument to bed once and for all.

Administration will also burn a lot of normal businesses and individuals just like the last Administration did, surely people are not advocating this?

I think most businesses are getting cash up front on their services with this incarnation. I heard even Bhuttos newsagents take payment in advance for their newspapers. Would Admin mean shares would be rendered useless again, or is it only in liquidation that the shares disappear??

Wonder which the Rangers fans would prefer? :D

What the **** is going on at Ibrox at all. I was reading a few pages back and having a look at articles on BBC and it's like a dense mire of madness. I can make no sense.

Very few can. It is a mire of mismanagement on a scale that defies belief. It has been one set of crooks after the other. Who have been ripping the fans and every one else they can big time. The vast majority of fans are now talking with their cash and refusing to put any more money into the club as we believe we have to starve the spivs out

Enough is enough though BBE, I know it's been said but do you not think it's time for proper fan protests? Maybe things are different these days, but I can't imagine Parkhead being as quiet as Ibrox is if this stuff was going on at Celtic.

It's an absolute disgrace, and the SFA/SPFL are not doing enough to protect the game and the fans. They need to tighten up the financial rules regarding clubs in their league so that this stuff cannot happen.

Just on this, Wallace is not facing criminal charges. The police are investigating a complaint from a shareholder about information Wallace gave (or did not give) in December. The police may recommend charges to the PF but I would say unlikely

Imagine what will happen when the SPFL gets a title sponsor for the Premiership, gets an improved TV deal etc. You can see by the contract offers to players and staff that there is a level of stability, that wasnt there for large parts of the SPL era, despite the whole setup at a low ebb.

More and more shady characters will want a piece of the action and more clubs will be going down the road of Rangers & Hearts.

Leadership needs to be shown now but the SFA/SPFL will say that the leadership has to come from the clubs and they get their mandate from them etc etc.

Clubs dont seem to interested in tightening ownership & governance rules more than they are. The drive for change will need to come from fans of all clubs and the media should be putting the fans views on a soap box, asking the hard questions of those running the game, but they are too busy with the petty stuff.

Semantics. He is facing criminal charges. i.e. he has the potential to get a criminal conviction . I never said he was charged or prosecuted.

Disagree that it is semantics, would you describe the current Griffiths situation as 'he is facing criminal charges'? I certainly would not

    What is he facing then?

That's not the way it works though.

He's currently being investigated and then a decision will be made if he is to face charges or not.

Not everyone who is investigated faces charges, often the decision is made not to face charges.

    I know how it works.

Its just an argument of how I use the term facing. I usually drop the term potentially and its implied by how i use it because I never use that adjective in any other context because its nearly always used in a context to describe a potential outcome.

Next time, ill consider using my solicitor to proof read my posts to satisfy the grammar Nazis

The mistake wasn't in your grammar though!

Semiotic Nazi doesn't have the same ring to it....

There are other descriptions for people that know what you mean but choose to take exception with it anyways...

Rangers chief executive Graham Wallace on £315,000 salary

    http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27265237

Get the players to take a wage cut to protect his & other directors salary before doing a 120+ day review that makes you wonder what he was doing with his time.

Rangers: Imran Ahmad in court again to ring-fence cash

    http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27251815

Looks like there is sufficient evidence in the public domain now although many predicted this outcome the 1st time he went to court.

Two spivs looking to siphon money no real surprise in any of it. In some ways Ahmad is even worse he was involved with Green in giving the players massive wages.
All this does is turn more of the few fans left that were still believing Wallace's bile

Big Jon Daly won the Sam English Bowl award this season, would of liked to see him get more goals but a great return for him regardless of the league.

How is he perceived by the fans? Read an interview with him that he loves it there.

Linked with Miller and Boyd for next season, might see him get fewer games but be great if hes there till you get back to the SPL. The rangers version of Shaun goater!!(im a city fan!).
