cheapest I can see is around €80 on ebay. Anybody come across any cheaper. Want to have it before holidays in two weeks so not from Asia if possible!

You could get it from China using DHL or EMS etc..
It may get hit at customs though.

I see it's on Aliexpress for €45.55. Seller has no feedback but seems to have only started (Store opened on the 11th).
All 49 orders placed so far came from Germany, from an affiliated link. Most likely a bargain site.

Also, with EMS, seller guarantees delivery in 8 days for €65 altogether.

I'd try it. Aliexpress is pretty safe now, with buyers protection.

VAT would be €14.86 (If shipping is included) if it was stopped.

Reading online when I was buying mine, the sellers who undercut by $40 are generally scams. You're protected but its still hassle. No feedback, means no buy from me. Still waiting for mine from aliexpress. I think it was ordered 2 weeks ago.

I'm always told to go to that website when I make a purchase too.

It's a website that can track regardless of the shipping company so be it Singapore, Hong Kong or Swiss Post it'll still track!.

Went for this. Came up at around €46 delivered and 12 day shipping between processing and actual delivery time. I have til the 8th of August before I head off so it'll be tight! If it doesn't come in time it still wasn't a bad price anyway!

I ordered from Amazon on the 10th of July with what I taught was a UK vendor, when I got the order acknowledgement found out that it was actually coming from Asia. Estimated delivery 21st July - 11th August, than has to get parcel moteled. Going travelling on the 30th so not much use to me if it arrives after that date.

Should have just paid the little extra and just baught it from a UK vendor on ebay.

If it's coming up as not received by China Post, then I'd say something has gone wrong.
I wouldn't be too worried, as Buyer Protection should cover you.

First thing I would do is contact the seller and ask them what's up.
If you get nowhere with them I'd open a dispute.
If you've ordered over 25 days ago, you may want open a dispute straight away.

Think it's a week since I ordered. I'll go straight to dispute as I haven't much time to play around with. Have one spotted on ebay for £64 with free delivery and it's based in the UK. Good seller based on feedback. Might just take the hit and order there.

I have the "Old" version, and it's great.
I saw a review somewhere that said all of the versions made after April 2014 are the newer ones, that was supposed to apply to all of versions for sale too, but obviously didn't.

Thing is, for the price you could still buy the version 2 model and it's still a good price (And have 2 cameras

I don't think there is a massive difference between the two versions

Note there are 2 versions of this camera available. The older version (version 1) has different hardware and LCD screen (typically sold before April 2014). Only v1 firmware works with this camera. The newer cameras come with different hardware and LCD screen (typically sold April 2014 and later). These cameras come with v2 firmware.

dispute process with aliexpress is slow as sh*t, youll get nowhere for at least a week or so in my experience....
