Nice! Have a bull by Ionesco aswell but only have a few young calves out of him. Shaping up nicely though, great length to them!
had a pelletstown bull before that one and found them far lenghtier. They are lacking a bit in height too.

Yes as you say great shape but a little on the low side. That bracket head is a nice animal but very little day light under her!

Quality calves. Will any of them be earmarked for breeding?
Most will be kept for fattening but theres two or three i might keep, ones off a sim cow another of a big rook of a lim and the last is off a blonde.

God you've unbelievable ground to not have to rake the sides of the trench more! What size shed you putting up? Best of luck with it, will give great comfort.

My lad isint very tall either, he seems very easy calved and putting a good stamp on the calves too along with being very good for docility. Had a few good limo bulls here that left nothing but lunatics after them and I will never again buy one with a low docility rating. The young bull is definitely breeding them longer than the old lads we had though. Pic of him her in his overworked clothes. 75D0011B-8A2D-4B52-BB7C-E894DA7F6579_zpssxpoi45j.png

cheers. its a 4 bay tank, 12,6" slats with 2 mixing points. i have the tank poured and backfilled, just waiting on the slats. its grand in this sort of weather but theres a run of springs under their that just seem to never stop. when the tank next to this one was going in an open drain had to be dug as the pumps couldnt keep the water out, just blessed with the weather on this one. most of the soil here is actually ackfill from the tank beside it.

Are the tank walls 12" wide?

A few pictures form the past fortnight. A neighbours cocks of hay, baling our own hay/silage and letting the cattle in to pick up what the mower missed, a bit of a variety sure :p

Edit: Took them down because of name, will put them up again in a while when I've my account sorted :D

The picture of the wrapper was taken off the slab, about five or six hundred yards up the road :)

No problem! It's an anonymous private photohost account I used in case you were wondering so your images are still private apart from here :)

I don't have a clue how to put up vids from the phone, one of the others might know?

Is it on youtube? could upload it there and show here using the [ YOUTUBE ][ /YOUTUBE ] wrap texts.

Or try converting it to GIF format here- http://benderconverter.com/
That's a very easy site to use. Then it can be posted here same as an image.

I would have thought he'd just bale it, as I believe he has a small square baler, but I know nothing about hay making.
