got mine through, early july not much time to prepare, I probably won't prepare this time anyway, I know what I'm dealing with but as for passing I'm just as worried as last time, that could have been a fluke as the last 10 answers or so were guesses. I have a problem with getting there though as I got an evening one on a day I work. hoping I have some hours left to take so I can leave an hour early.

For anyone who has done it before; aside from the stuff on the practice test about doing crosswords etc is there anything that we should be doing to prepare? Seen people talking about transfer practice tests? Would these be useful?

I didnt do anything for the last one .. I just showed up and sat down .. Lol! If im honest tho its def the worst part ... Just make sure you read everything and people always say to guess answers if your running out of time, I didnt and didnt get it finished but still passed it.

IST test date given and instructions to keep my mouth shut about it- to be expected of course.

I haven't sat this exam yet (to be clear) but flew through the given example of an IST half asleep and got them all right pretty much. (Removed my comment about one question just in case its against the rules to discuss)

Are my future prospects any different if I get 100% on this exam instead of just a pass ? What mark is a pass ? If I can fly through the example given ,which I did, then is there any point looking for more examples of an IST paper ?

Pass mark last campaign was 51/75.

Obviously subjective, but I'd say the practice paper is easier than the one on the day.

Thanks . At least with the practice paper it is done in the relative safety of home. At the venue there are a lot of potential distractions, to take your mind off the paper but it seems straightforward if you think logically.

IMO practice paper is a lot easier than on the day. Only really helps to show you the type of questions you'll be asked.

Yep, practise is simplier, there's a lot more info to interpret on the day.
