Mamadou Sakho suffered a strained thigh muscle. He will undergo an MRI scan on Saturday, but the staff are not worried. (beIN Sports)

It's ok,you don't need to say that in here. Practically everything is off topic. I can't even remember what the topic is any more :)

I used to be with topic, but then they changed what topic was. Now what I'm with isn't topic, and what's topic seems weird and scary to me.

    It'll happen to you.

Lads, and you can probably guess what my response to Kryogen's post was gonna be...

Kate Cohen's AVB article is gone.

The internet is dead to me.

£35M bid for Sanchez has been submitted according to tomorrow's El Mundo Deportivo newpaper in Spain

    Maybe on here?

I haven't given it too much thought, in my own personal experience my Spurs supporting friends are more annoying

In general I find most Liverpool/United fans to be a lot less precious in real life and able to take the piss out of each other while also respecting the other clubs achievements too. Course, the internet is very serious business I know. Innocent jokes are often interpreted as an act of war.

This kid Kory was being a prick in class (shouting out, trying to be funny) so this big dude Kerrigan who sat behind Kory flicked him in the ear. Kory started to cry, but it started off as that wheezy silent cry. Everyone turned to look at him, and the crying escalated until he was sobbing uncontrollably. There was snot coming from his nose and he was drooling, and he was holding his ear like he had just been shot. He started punching the desk and screaming "WHY WHY WHY". The teacher, Mrs. Gaverson, was just asking him what was wrong and Kory said "KERRIGAN IS BEING A SHIT" so she told him to watch his language or go to the office. He started crying even harder and fell to the ground, and curled up in a ball.

She had to lift him up by the arm and take him to the office. When he came back near the end of class Kerrigan flicked him again and he just shrieked and the situation basically repeated itself, except the teacher had much less tolerance and sent him to the office immediately.

I wouldn't listen to any of this.

It's not like Barcelona were so amazed by his performance last night that they decided they'd bid, it just seems too convenient. The thinking of the newspaper was probably "Luis Suarez played well last night and the world were watching, let's make a story to boost our sales".

Alexis Sanchez + £30m according to the Daily Express. They mention the El Mundo story too.

40 million plus Sanchez would be a major improvement on last summers offer from the gunners.

    Ara Sanchez

    From that Express article:
Last summer Arsenal made an offer of £60m plus £1 in the hope of triggering the clause only to have the bid knocked back by Liverpool.

However, in March Liverpool owner John W. Henry admitted that Suarez did have a £60m clause in his contract but the club gambled that Arsenal would not go to court if they failed to honour it.

It now remains to be seen whether either Real or Barcelona encounter a similar problem should the meet the reported fee this time around.

Would not be surprised in the least if a load of clubs came after him. But the above and the fact that the release clauses mentioned seem to be based on a Euro value (not sterling as you would imagine given he's at an English club) suggests to me it's probably at least partly made up.

It was 40 million plus 1.

    Arsenal offered £40m+1, not 60...

    The first stage is denial.

Why would they bid for him today, as opposed to last week, or next week? He scores two goals against the country of his club and Barcelona are supposed to have decided to bid for him the next day, seems way too contrived to be true.

That article is only 20 million out! Says all you need to know really!
