In fairness I'm sure the Sun have denied the holocaust at some point.

Plus no politician should be endorsing a paper with some light porn just inside the front page.

    +1

The Sun is a ****ing rag of the highest order. That's without factoring in their lies about Hillsborough.

Why anyone from the Labour party in the UK would associate themselves with it when it's a Murdoch mouthpiece is beyond me, but then again the Labour party over there is a shadow of it's former self.

The Liverpool and World Cup linkage game, find a link between every game and LFC

    Brazil v Croatia - Lovren a target
Mexico v Cameroon - Charles Itandje ex 3rd choice keeper, Stephane Mbia linked with Liverpool move albeit tenous.

Spain v Netherlands - Alonso starts and Kuyt, Reina, Torres on bench.

Transfer nonsense Ian Ayre set to fly out to Germany to wrap up a deal for Firmino.

It's the metro so you know yourself.

Can't link at the moment as I'm on my phone.

I've supported Liverpool since 93/94 as a six year old, and my dad has supported them since he was a chap, and bar the treble season and the championship league win in 05 I have never enjoyed a season so much, 95% of my friends support United and they were always quick to remind me how far we had fallen!!

    Is he a lady now?

I'm trying to think of something for the Chile-Australia game. Struggling for something better than Mark Gonzalez and Harry Kewell.

The guy that make Brad Jones's unique one-of-a-kind super strong holding hair product will apparently be in attendance.

We've been linked with both Dutch CBs too, de Vrij has been linked for a couple of years now.

I also suggested every player in their defence we should look at in my wacky transfer list.

    edit - not Vlaar.

Hi all, just another poster who's availing of the world cup open access to post in the soccer forum. Just wondering if there were any thoughts on two transfers that have been linked to Liverpool in the last couple of months, Micah Richards and Alexis Sanchez. Latest Sanchez rumour is Juve have it more or less wrapped up while Richards rumours have gone very quiet. Are these just paper talk or is there a chance we're actually seriously in for them?

We should put a bid in for that Dos Santos lad from Mexico, looks a talent.....but I reckon Spurs would probably come in and vulture him from us. :pac:

Using the World Cup amnesty to sneak in here as I haven't gotten around to requesting access yet

Had a ball following the thread during the season, loved the Pandas and Saps, hopefully we can continue on with the feelgood factor after this seasons over achievement

Very much hope the Shaqiri rumours are true, he is a player I have always liked and think he would fit in very well

    Onwards and upwards (hopefully) lads
Though Chelsea could be scary good next season

I have to say I've had a great time this season. It's the first year in a long time where I could actually watch most games, no more working weekends :)
It's been a rollercoaster season for me from the Flanagan goal against Spurs, thumping Arsenal and doing United as well, to the famous slip, the E'to challenge on Suarez and just missing out on the league.
I've supported Liverpool since 93/94 as a six year old, and my dad has supported them since he was a chap, and bar the treble season and the championship league win in 05 I have never enjoyed a season so much, 95% of my friends support United and they were always quick to remind me how far we had fallen!!
All season I wanted to post in this thread, but didn't have access, and join in the banter with the rest of the mad Panda—Saps.
Well here's to next year and hopefully we can build on the great work of this season and cement top four and build a squad which will get us over the final hurdle!!

One of the most important questions humanity has to ask:

    Daddy

    or

    Chips?

Our club doesn't get nearly enough credit for selling Torres when we did and replacing him with the world's best for half the price.

In all fairness, lads, we should refund chelsea £49m.

Even £1m would be generous for Torres.

I may be wrong on this but does the Sun not have a huge influence over the British electorate? If Labour want to get back into power then they will need to get back into bed with the Sun at some point, so I'm not really surprised!
