I just have an aversion to everything in the world wanting me to have a FB account and wanting access to said FB account :)

Google can have my left arm if it wants it :P

Hold on, you're giving out about something that's opt in, WTF?

I don't think it really matters, this isn't the place for a discussion like this.

I'm fully aware that I started it, so I apologise :D

    Back to must have apps!

Did anyone who downloaded If This, Then That (IFTTT) get much use out of it?

Yes, I've been using it with pushbullet before there was an app, the app doesn't add any functionality, just gives easy access to recipes from your phone.

I get the weather and Amazon's free app of the day every morning, best Android apps of the month, reminders to pay bills and a few other recipes

So, is pushbullet to work in tandem with IFTTT or is it instead of IFTTT?

I only have 3 recipes, as I find most stuff is about sharing to social media, which you may know I don't care much for :P

Started playing Clash of Clans lately.

Cool little game and very addictive.

Yes, I use Pushbullet to push to multiple devices, phone, laptop, tablet at the same time and pick recipes that push to Pushbullet.
I don't really use it for social media other than a recipe that notifies me of new Twitter followers through Pushbullet and another that automatically tweets them a welcome tweet.

Angry Birds Epic - Now available on Android!

It's an RPG! Anyone playing it yet?

Just no. Angry birds has been done to death. Unless Rovio can re-invent themselves with something new, they will die soon. On that point, Angry birds must die. It's already done to death.... on ... every .... platform

Is MOBDRO not available for download anymore??? It seems to be blocked from the PlayStore on my phone now.

If it's gone, then can someone recommend another such application that I could watch Sports channels on for the US Open golf. Thanks in advance!

Best bet would be to google a app similar to "insert app name here" :)

Tiny Dice Dungeon is a fun little game I found recently. I am spending far too much time enjoying 8bit graphics and roll pretend dice to beat up monsters.

It is free with options to buy extras, the usual sort of thing.

You should refer to the charter as to when you are allowed to speak or not. There you'll find that the topic of Warez or anything that openly breaks the law (like copyright law) is not permitted here. So, to answer your question, no, you are not allowed to speak on certain topics.

You'll note that the charter also states that "if you have a problem with a mods decision do not challenge it on thread" and instead "PM the mod in question or take it to the Helpdesk forum". You did PM me, although it was clear you hadn't bothered to read the charter, which would have answered your question - however, having PM'ed me I'm not going to increase your warning to an infraction despite having broken the charter again.

I trust this clears things up.

And that will be enough on this OT discussion.

Find Swiftkey in your app drawer and open it.
    Under Settings, tap on Themes.
    Tap the Swiftkey Store button.
    Tap on Packs.
You should see a Premier pack that shows as Free €4.99.
Tap on this and your themes will download.

I got an email from them this morning to say that I was been given this for free, cos I had bought the main app in the past.

I hope it's the same for everyone :D

I do not get the option of SwiftKey store for themes, I've a choice of about a dozen themes and that's it.

I had to update mine before the offer was there

I don't know if there's an update available on mine, I did download it via Amazon if it makes any difference (a free app of the day at the time)

Edit, uninstalling and reinstalled sorted it. Most of my new themes are 89c though

Can anyone suggest a group messaging app, I suppose like WhatsApp but has an indicator when members of the group actually read/listen to the message? WhatsApp doesn't have that for group members.
