Apologies, seen it on the PGA Tour site on his scorecard but it was just a link to an old article.. you're spot on he's still in there!

Yeah I see that now - that's a bit silly of them the way they have that in there because it definitely looks like a withdrawal notice!

For anyone that's interested, the US Open's own leaderboard is quicker to update and less glitchy than the PGA Tour's.

He bit off more than he should have in bunker and hit the lip and went to the woods and made double bogey.

He went into a bunker, hit the bunker face with his shot from the bunker and went into the woods. Thats it, in a nutshell.

Now he's well on the bogey train

Even lovelier now that he's -2 and tied second :D

Rory hanging in there at +1 and that's good enough to be tied 21st!

Have a feeling it could be a + score winner.

Any player who can stay near par going in to the last day has a good shot at winning it, can see anything higher than 2-3 under winning, looks like a tough course now with no rough just a mixture of sand and grass

Its playing easier today because it rained last night. If it stays dry over the weekend we could see some very high scores coming in

Fowler outdoes himself again in the clothing stakes. Good God.

Its a nice tribute to Payne Stewart. Fair play to him

Would be right in saying that any money won by Fitzpatrick this week would count against his efforts to win enough to earn a tour card for next year? Even though he wouldn't actually get the money itself.

Mickelson wouldnt putt it into a bucket. If he can sort that out over the weekend he'll be hard to beat.

Some duff there by the defending champion!

Blixt's fantastic major run could be coming to an end, +6 thru 16. Tied 67 so could do with a bogey or 2 on the last 2.

    **edit, bogey should read birdie**

You must have laid him if you want him to bogey the last 2. Not a nice thing to hope

Sorry, no financial interest, that was just a brain fart, I meant birdie of course, to bring him inside the early cut line.

I am a big fan of his.

Jaysus dufner is dodgy with the short putts. As rob lee just said he nearly topped a 3 footer!
