Hopefully we'll have a winner Sunday night, always find the 18 hole play off a bit of an anti climax (Apart from Rocco and Tiger last time).
Wouldn't want a play off with any of the players committed to next weeks Irish Open either.

I read Rocco's book on that play off, not bad, a lot about Rocco's life in general and a good read

Darren Clarke working with Dr. Bob again. A repeat of the Open Championship. :-)

Garcia's putting has improved 10 fold and he has been one of the best putters on tour the last two seasons

Ya I believe he ranked 19th in putting last year, so that excuse can be put to bed

Yeah overall it's improved but he goes in patches it seems, I watched him there a few weeks back and his putting game was awful that week, hopefully he doesn't fall into a slump and gets it back, played well in Players Championship in May.

I'm always up for Poults but have a funny feeling about Jonas Blixt this time...
Nothing funny about that..blixt has taken to the majors well and have seen a few writeups on his chances.

One of those guys at a nice price that will creep along under the radar.

    Bogey on one for Blixty

^ Not sure tbh, is it really a tribute or a "look at me"?

How well did Rickie know Payne, considering he wasnt even a year old when Payne died...

Ah let him off, it's just a bit of fun.

Apparently Payne was one of his favourite golfers and he wanted to pay tribute to him. Nothing wrong with that imo.

Sky talking up look of course - looks awful in my eyes.

    Work in progress at least.

I love it, looks amazing to me. Just the edge of the bunkers are the only problem.

Disappointed to see rain has softened up the course somewhat ... wanted to see them suffer!!

Ricky would have been a 10 year old when Payne Stewart died he'd have watched him a bit

Looking forward to the next few days of golf.

Rickie Fowler with a new look.

Ahh no, I think it looks super, real old school. None of this overly manicured wall to wall dark green. At least its different to the norm on tour.

    Pity about the rain though.

Around bunkers just looks unfinished - not a fan of bunkers that punish you with extras - some of the extras just look out of place.
    First reaction.

Tough there. Up and downs will be key.

Love the course, nice to see golfers having to think their way round more than normal. Shame its not proper firm though.

How is Snedeker ripping apart THIS course!!

On a half day and watching the golf now...very soft and snedeker is firing straight at everything...could end up with a serious score if he keeps going.

McIlroy setting himself up for another top 10 finish.

Mcilroy all over the shop. Mickelson looking very good off the tee, hopefully he'll work his putting out.

I was thinking Webb would have another good year, has to get back in it though, couple of poor putts.

Apologies, seen it on the PGA Tour site on his scorecard but it was just a link to an old article.. you're spot on he's still in there!

Sneds will be back to earth after that bunker lip into the woods

I knew *INSERT GOLFER NAME* would win it.

Just didn't want to jinx him by posting it here!

He hasn't withdrawn, but I think I know what happened

    http://www.pgatour.com/leaderboard.html

It has a link to an article about Sergio pulling out of the PGA in Wentworth stuck beside his scorecard.
Headline is "Garcia withdraws with knee injury" - I'm guessing that's what caused the confusion.
