    is channel list any easier with that,have you tried the hyperian image its good but channel list not good as i am a novisce with all this suppose wil have to spend more hours gonna play around with it this morning

    I am running an ARP E2 image and am a happy camper with several day EPG, HDD recording and FTA/Saorview in one box. Thanks to all here for their help in getting me there.

    Its being working grand for a couple of weeks, so obviously i need to play around with it. I have been trying to connect to my NAS and in Mountmanager i can input all the details but I cannot browse the NAS. Has anybody used the AA2 to browse and run files from their NAS?

    great tip not only did it find channels but put them in a nice order,let u know if i cant find anything dreading taling the moter,not even tried looking yet think it lists tuners as abc c being for terrestrial aerial so i gotta worry about other two, here is praying i dont ruin everything i suppose i can leave one tuner set where it is on 28 e4ast then somehow try to toggle other one usals that hopefully will keep channels i have.wish me look unless there is a guide anybody can point me to is it best to stick to advanced anybody. ???

    have you ever felt like getting a lump hammer and smashing your box to smitherenenes ha ha.trying to set a moter up to one of tunerstuner 3 = a terrestrial so left that for aerial not bothered with it.left tuner b =1 to advanced 28 east input a sky cable that works so trying to confure tuner c =2 to my moter first i tried moving my moter to thor was just gonna use box on 2 birds so changed advanced to simple thor wasnt sure weather to selct cband or ku selected ku as i thought thi was correct one. it then gives you a stupid message are you sure to exit without save yes or no. if i say yes it wont save so i say no it wont let me exit or when idid manage to exit tuner to has chnged to atra 19 when i got to serach for channels on the serach. so now i try to change tuner 2 to advanced diseq 1.2 as it doesnt say usals i input my lat and long selected thor when i come out thor has changed to 19.2 again but i have a lock on satellite so i download and get fta das erste ect. so do i have download one tp at a time in order to get all channels from astra 19 b4 moving on to try get another satellite, whoever designed hdmu must have been a nuclear physisist ridiculistly complicated.

    There might be an easier way to do that though mount manager... but you could achieve the same thing using Samba Server. It's installed on most images in the firmware thread. Then just search _this_ thread for 'samba server' to see how to set it up.

    Has anyone noticed break-up on one mux and not the other. For me on Hyperion v4 I see this on RTE1, Junior and +1 mainly in the evening (pointed at Truskmore ch 53 73000, ch 57 76200). The SNR is reported low enough <30% while channels on the other mux is 99%.

    Seems related to image/Enigma as there are no issues in Spark (signal is 90%) and with another combo box I have its fine also.
    Didn't have this on Hv3. Think I noticed same on HDMU, will try some others...

    Just wondering has anyone else seen/heard of this?

    Haven't noticed anything myself but a few other posters have noticed a drop in signal strength on v4.

    Ok cheers, was planning on getting a splitter anyhow to get the signal into another room or two. Might see if a booster helps.... Using a passive signal splitter would drop signal quite a bit me reckons.

    Some talk of the signal from the RTE1 HD mux not being as strong as from the mux with all the other channels. Rooftop aerial best bet for strongest reception.

    I had the same problem with ARP Image.

    Im using Fresh Pots Hyp 4 image at the moment and can connect to my nas by activating the dnla client in the pkt blue panel.

    I then go to media player and select upnp, and I can now browse and watch media files from my NAS bay.

    Hope this helps. If you find a way to mount the NAS handier, let me know.

    Is there a way to save the image you are running after you've set up the channel list etc as you like?

    I'm running an image from TVTrade.ie, that came with the box, however I want to try different one's. I downloaded Championc's and TTG's images but when I loaded them the box got stuck on boot.

    I re-loaded the TVtrade image, but had to re-scan, reconfigure all the channels, delete stuff I didn't want etc.

    It would be handy if I could just re-load an image with all my preferences saved.

    Its not the image you are installing.
    go to champs download page: http://goo.gl/2DuVm0
    get the E2-Upgrade plugin and install.
    Boot into spark and install it.
    use the backup e2 option to make a backup of your enigma2 to your hard drive

    RTE webplayer fires up without problem, but the exit button still will not work?

    When I am using the RTE Player (Hyperion 4), I just press the stop button and then press exit!

    Are you trying to exit player while player is playing a program? If so you must stop the program first. Press Stop and then exit.

    Hi have give credits image on thanks,

    Has any one a link to multi quick button that will work with the image.

    Tried from the multi quick button site, but when ftp'd got error message.

    Basically want to change when EPG is pressed it will go straight to list of channels of the bouquet that i'm watching ( like on champs image) instead of list of bouquets thanks??

    You may not need it, long press epg and select default Epg and choose CoolTVGuide. Multiquickbutton brings about it's own problems, select a button that's not mapped and it gives a popup asking you to map it.

    Hi with long press epg it only gives option of red similar, green ad timer, yellow single epg, blue multi epg.
    Multi epg is only now next! ?

    No need for mqb on Hyperion, it has a built in keymapper in the blue panel.

    When in epg, press menu button and set the setting to go to bouquets to=off, This setting is under yellow button I think. (So from memory in epg, press menu/yellow and change setting)

    Yep I had the same problem. Tried many options last night. But I will give this ago when I get home.

    OK solved it!

    Press- Menu
    Press- Setup
    Press- System
    Press- User interface
    Press- Change third option on list to NO. (Enable Multiple bouquets)
