If United had beat Bayern it might have been a bigger upset than Brock beating Taker.

United fans seem ok with the result to be fair, plucky losers and all that.

Well done Moyes, you know how to lower expectations and standards so quickly.:pac:

Moyes is the most respectable thing associated with Mancester United in years. Ignore what fans who support United because "they have cousins from Manchester" say. The man will turn it around.

My expectations were lowered the day Alex Ferguson announced his retirement. This season has gone only slightly worse than I expected (can't quite believe how many home games we've lost but similarly surprised at how we're the best away side in the league) and it's been heightened greatly by how good Arsenal were until March and how good Liverpool have been since New Year's. And it was mine and, as I recall, a common opinion that it would be a brave man to try and fill those shoes. It was also a common opinion that this would be a period of transition for United regardless of who the man in charge was though that was largely forgotten by many come October. And I'm not having a go at fans that don't believe in Moyes when I say that as he has given good reason to doubt him. However I believe he can, and hopefully will, set this right next season. And I do think (this thought gives TSC nightmares it seems) he should be given until the end of next season and if we're still in a position were the midfield and full back problems haven't been addressed properly, and we're still this far off the leading pack then it's fair enough to state that it probably isn't going to work out. For now I think it's a premature claim.

**I say this knowing some of the 'pro-Moyes' opinions consist almost entirely of "he needs to be given time because Fergie was given years when he came in and look what happened" and just like those that want Moyes out hate this notion so do I. I have my reasons for thinking Moyes can be a success but this is not one of them; football has moved on from the 80s and in the current financially driven climate it is a completely ridiculous & irrelevant notion.

Moyes should have never have got the job in the first place, they should have gone on their knees to Jose a man who has actually won trophies with top teams or a proven winner.

Taking a side which strolled the league last year and turning into someone who will struggle to make the top six is an astonishing drop.

Transfer wise, Mata was not as needed as other positions and Fellani has been a disaster which he must take the blame for.

Lets not forget all the defeats and how City and Pool tore them apart at OT.

Moyes is out of his depth and if his season highlight is avoiding been trashed by an out of sorts Bayern Munich and that is enough to keep him employed, then standards have well and truly fallen.

The style of football has been awful, numerous games he has failed tactically as he did last night with leaving Rooney on, out of his depth a bit like hodgson was at the Pool.

What's the best way when buy a ticket from Ticketmaster to either get it sent via email or get it delivered in the post hoping to get it before the concert.
They go on sale in the morning and the nearest Ticketmaster is a 40min drive

If you have a printer I'd imagine the email would be handy. But I've always gotten delivered by post and never had any problems. And you will get it before the concert, it's usually sent out months in advance

Well done to Pool fans for pretty much winning the league.

Not a fan but the way they played has been fantastic to watch, and really to all neutrals are Chelsea and City anymore fun or likable? Nope.

Beat a Chelsea side in the middle of a champions league semi final at home and its a formality, really if you slip up at Norwich, Pool or Palace you don't deserve to win the league.

No cert that City will beat Everton away either of course, even if Pool do stumble.
