Think it's highly unlikely that "Chosen one" Banner will be at the next home game.

    Joke.

It's not press, journalists have long since turned on him. It's the ex players who are now pundits that refuse to even entertain the idea that he could be to blame. And this is the reason why imo http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2537421/David-Moyes-fighting-battle-home-grown-managers-Manchester-United-Jamie-Carragher-column.html

United win the league. All thanks to Fergie.

United add 65m worth of players to the squad, add Januzaj as well. Solid 7th. All the players' fault, Moyes blameless and needs time and money.

These players as well that are the ****ing devil according to some people:

Evra: Clearly finished and people knew this a year ago if not longer than that. Nothing done about it and we botched signing a replacement last summer with Moyes escaping criticism for this

Ferdinand: Even more clearly finished and everyone knew it. As with Evra, did not feature in any sane person's long term plans for the club

Giggs: Seriously? Ryan Giggs and people are siding with Moyes before him? If giggs is infuriated by how things are he's entitled to be, the man ****ing breathes Man United. He's ****ing 40 anyways, nobody's building the team around him.

Van Persie: Won us the title a year ago and is being starved due to our horrible negative style. Hardly gets a touch and is criticised for not being able to link in with the sort of rubbish we play under Moyes and becoming frustrated by it. Look at how he plays for Holland and how he's played up to this point to

Cleverley: Has looked great under fergie in years past. Similar to how Jordan Henderson looked rubbish at Pool under managers that didn't know what they were at but is a great player now, i'd have faith in the lad yet.

Smalling: Natural CB that gets shunted out right constantly though he's not really able for it at all.

Kagawa: Never gets played because Moyes doesn't understand how to use him. This is his fault though.

These players had us pretty much champions by this stage last year though. I know who i'm blaming.

He looked great for about 4 games, the rest of the time he's been utter shíte.

Moyes goes to Utd, they fade away whilst Everton get much better.

Moyes was hailed as a great manager at Goodison, yet all those years he was holding them back!!

Martinez is 6 points from matching Moyes last season and 8 points from matching Moyes best ever point tally.

It's only one season (and some people will never rate Martinez) but it's pretty damning stuff. I thought Everton fans expecting more under Moyes were a bit deluded but........

AVB was above United at the time iirc, and at a club with far less expectations too.

Comically short sighted to blame just the manager. If you cant see the effect of losing Giggs & Scholes without replacing then there is a serious lack of perspective in play! Players arent up to it, that midfield is not up to it, that defence is not up to it! Haha, its blindingly obvious to fans of teams who have had a field day in Old Trafford this year. An aging team cannot go on for ever, when the engine blows it can be spectacular.

It aint just Dave folks...Lots of shopping required.

Look at the difference a decent manager can make to players - terry and cahill at chelsea were shambolic at times last year, this year they are rock solid. Sturridge at liverpool is among the top scorers yet was bombed out of city and chelsea cos he wasn't able to cut it. Chelsea are leading the premiership with a terrible bunch of strikers, liverpool are close to them with a terrible bunch of defenders. A good manager gets the best out of what he has , moyes certainly doesn't.

Going forward is a joke with shots on target often in the low single digits, midfielders are afraid of the ball or trying an adventurous pass and the defence are all over the place. The very least he could have done this season was made them hard to beat instead they crumble at the slightest bit of pressure

I truly fear for Moyes after this loss. Aside from a 15min spell they were bloody awful yet again. This was the next to knockout blow for me and with Bayern litterrally laughing into their tv's tonight, when they finish the CL tie in the first leg that'll be it for Moyes. There will be no coming back from such a string of big defeats against big teams.

Regardless of who you think is to blame here, Manager or players, or both - the bottom line is that we've watched United get absolutely smashed, conceding so many and not even looking like getting a goal - looking totally devoid of any real spark. Afraid to play a forward pass at times, unable to muster the courage to take a player on! It is quite an incredible turnaround.

Samir Nasri outfought 3 United players on the wing before rushing forward, he was surrounded and he came away with the ball, Samir bloody Nasri!!! Added to that Ferdinand watches from the safety of 5 yards as Dzeko scores from the corner ... not even an attempt to match his run, just ... watching???

Even in his heyday with Everton he might have lost 90% of his games against the top 4 teams, but they were never humiliated like this. The players have given up on him, he is a dead man walking.

That said ... lets hope he can muster something against Bayern and for the rest of the season cos he's a decent auld skin is Moysie, would be sad to see him go without getting 400 million to spend and a guaranteed 3 more years in the hot seat.

Keep telling yourself that but he's being backed by the club. I'll be amazed if he's not Utd manager in December.

    Another depressing match and result.

I was hugely disappointed with Fellaini. He didn't look bothered. Didn't want to break a sweat getting to a breaking ball or tackle. He made some of Evra's performances look good.

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but there wasn't a single pro-Moyes chant through out the match. Unless I went deaf for parts of it.

That was probably the biggest thing I'll take from the match. I think the tide is turning. If the crowd start to get on his back, he could be in for it.

The last thing Utd need. Let's hope he doesn't.
With Mourinho in charge we'd be furthe rup the table - Moyes is the biggest reason for the 'performances' this season.

Scholes also said that Mourinho is a huge plus factor for Chelsea and implied that if they didn't have him they wouldn't be in as hood a position.

Sure? Plenty twitter talk of stewards preventing fans taking the consent one banner down alrigjt.
Some journos mentioned the first rumblings of discontent at OT as well.

I actually think he's gone now, absolutely no excuses. As someone's posted earlier there's players so far below their usual standards its not even funny. These are players with 2,3,4,5 premierships and a champions league medal. It cannot be that difficult to get these players focused and playing and defending well. It cannot and should not be tolerated

Moyes: "City are at the level we aspire to be"

    Fcuk off. Now.

Manchester United deserve better than this.

What Bayern did to Hertha Berlin

    BjmmUaHIcAAkN62.jpg

We are in for a world of hurt. On reddit a poster said we had a mighty sum of 145 passes and completed 117.

If Moyes was at another club with these results he'd be gone by now

Evident by the fact that all of the vocal support was for the club. None for the manager.
