That could have easily been 5 or 6 if it wasn't for big daves great save Gerrards penalty miss and sturridge penalty that want given.

The final 2 nails should be hammered into the coffin on Wednesday and Sunday. His position would have to become untenable with 2 defeats, can't really see any way he could stay.

Where the hell can you start after that...

Obviously but he has said **** all about Moyes and his lack of a plan B and no decent subs early on.

Tactically inept and too many cowards out there today who simply went into hiding.Amazing how Carrick can look like a football God when we are cruising against teams but when it's put up to us he simply goes into his shell.

Despite what Rvp said during the week I honestly believe that he doesn't want to play for Moyes,he strolled around today as if he couldn't care less.

Been saying this for years. Looks good because he tries hard but his positioning is awful. Makes loads of silly fouls as a result. Then gets injured because he launches in to rescue himself. Brainless player. Back up at best for a top club.

Rubbish. He was or best performer today and is league's ahead of Flanagan and Johnson.

Out classed, didn't look like they wanted it more than Liverpool. Evra a disgrace to the shirt, he doesn't care anymore and it's obvious to see. Moyes has been poor but the team themselves have shown little to deserve to wear the shirt.

    :pac: Understatement of the century

The players have to accept massive responsibility out there but from all accounts it seems as if they don't believe in the manager. Such a spineless performance and Moyes is getting nothing from this team.

The thing is, City isn't even our next league game. We're likely to be turned over at Upton Park Saturday evening too.

For the love of jebus, Moyes out.

What a totally gutless performance by everyone involved(bar DDG and that save).
Can't defend, can't attack, can't hold midfield, no tactics, no plan, no cohesiveness, no heart. Before I just blamed Moyes but that defending was just comical. The only thing missing is the Benny Hill music. But #1, Moyes has got to go.

How can Moyes keep his job after that?

So Flanagan and Johnson are the yardsticks for full backs???

There also wasn't one good performance for us today so to say Rafael was our best player is really grasping at straws.

RVP and Rooney were really poor today, can't believe they lasted 90 mins..

    Options are

A)a wholesale clear out of all players Moyes has not bought.

B)just Moyes and his goons that look so far out of thier depth.

Now we know why Moyes doesn't start that first 11 week in week out. It's because he is not capable of providing tactics to let them play the way they should be playing.

Individually the players were abysmal today but they are not the root of the problem. Moyes needs to be sacked. No other club in the world would keep him in the job.

And bringing on cleverley was laughable.

Stubbornness. Fergie is the hinderance at the moment

Moyes needs to show some backbone. The club is rotten, a player wants to leave twice and is rewarded with a new contract twice, players who don't give a crap and in one case have already signed with another club allowed to play. Honestly, I'd take players from the academy and play them in every game after Wednesday for the rest of the season. There doesn't seem to be any accountability for bad play, the players are being mollycoddled. They don't seem to have any respect for the shirt. I mean that was Manchester United vs Liverpool ffs! Outside Rooney and maybe Mata not 1 player showed any desire to change the situation, instead happy to cruise while the game was still well within reach. I was watching and waiting for something to give me hope but nothing came. I mean what on earth is happening?!

But surely the club must come before everything and everyone else? KEeping Moyes in a job makes the club look bad.

Rooney getting 300k a week and ended up playing left wing after another woeful performance as a number 10. He's had very few good games this season in that position.

RVP didn't seem to care, probably gone in the summer.

Januzaj poor, we should have better options than him.

Mata was poor but at least tried.

When I saw the new united Jersey I knew they wouldn't win the league, but couldn't have imagined a season this bad!

He was saying during the match that he didn't understand why there had been no changes.

So then ditch 20 odd players (who have almost all won things) or 1 manager who is unproven at this level. Tricky question I know...

Baffling how it took so long to make changes when it was obvious to everyone that something had to be done at half time. Ludicrous management, but not helped by poor performances.

How long do individual performances continue to be poor before it becomes the manager's problem? We can lose the odd game because the players just didn't turn up, but if it happens every second match you have to look to the bigger picture.
