No back problems after the lets-surprise-pixel-face-during-deadlifts yesterday?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,975 ✭✭✭JJayoo

No back is still wonky but there is zero spinal flexion going on when you bench so it was grand. It's much better than I thought it might be.

    Anyhow currently 88.5kg morning weight

Anytime I messed my back up it hurt no matter what I did. That was probably because I was deadlifting like a mong.

I've been on the search for quark since you never stop praising it's glory and I can't find it. If it's in Connacht then surely it's in Munster, it has to be!

Where the fcuk do you get it?:pac:

I'd genuinely believe it and all.

But on a more serious note only buy Golden Acre quark the killybegs stuff is toxic donkey piss. Golden Acre Quark is in Dunnes in Sligo so I'm assuming it's in most Dunnes. It has a perfect texture and since you are bulking just load it up with jam and honey. For people cutting get some raspberry flavdrops from my protein or melt some sugarfree lemon jelly and mix it in, let it set and you have lemon cheesecake.

Definitely interested to try it especially with the flavdrops.

I'll have a look next time I'm near Dunnes anyway. Is it expensive?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,975 ✭✭✭JJayoo

It's about 1.80 Euro for a 250g tub which gives 30g of protein and 10 carbs. The flavdrops are excellent if you are trying to keep calories down. But if you are bulking then try it with a load of honey and jam NOM NOM NOM NOM

And if you are getting Flav drops get some Toffee flavour amazing in coffee. I now use it as a sweetener.

Just cooked up two massive salmon darnes and made a butter and lemon sauce, I like low carb and i love when my fish comes bone free.

Good news. I found quark in Dunnes.

Bad news. I now have 4 and a bit tubs of quark in my fridge that I don't really like. Is it yogurt or cheese? It tastes like both!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,975 ✭✭✭JJayoo

Did you add honey or jam to it? Toast, peanut butter, jam and quark = nom

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,783 ✭✭✭RidleyRider

I've tried honey and it was a bit better. I think I'd like it on toast but I don't eat bread anymore.

She's only playing with me :( she is too pretty for a horrid troll like me.

And squats are weird I think my pelvis is out of whack I find it impossible to align my feet, left foot is always ahead of the right. Something somewhere is tight.

I see what you're doing there, playing sympathy:pac:

Have you ever done much work on your ankles? Since I made it a more regular thing I can get into and hold a much better squat position.
