The winds will die down a bit the next few days, but come wednesday and thursday, things will be just as bad again. It will be bad for a while, I think.

    Savage rain, little enough wind.

All I can say is thank God my urea is in the bag in the yard

You have to be thinking of roofing the cubicles by now, our rainfall for jan. is 30% higher than average for January, you must be collecting a massive amount of water

The tide was visiting again this morning. Another high tide tonight, hopefully the wind will shift in the mean time and that will lessen it's affect in this part of the world anyway.

    Tralee Bay,

Stormy, blustery cutting wind . Visibility 200 yards approx.. High tide overnight did damage to beaches and dunes. . If we get the gale with the high tide tonight there will be some very serious damage.

The electrics usually go ape **** crazy too as a car is submersed it wouldn't be uncommon for lights to come on and alarms to go off etc.

One has got to love these challenging days. work lad rang at 7 to say he couldnt come as everywhere was flooded, only he was 15miles away I would have said I will come for him in the tractor. FFS kids nowadays and a bit of a damp skirmish and they are downing tools. Other guy turns up half hour late as he went to see the floods .

Rough, glad I made some room in tanks last week, and urea is still in the bag.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
