Some change since this morning cold wet and windy. Delighted to get all the work done early.

Heavy rain, high wind and cold. Wind from the SE, unusual to get it from that point with the rain. Be interesting to see will it take down many trees with the ground saturated and the wind coming from a different direction from normal.

It's blowing fairly well here now, wet on and off too, much better having to be inside listening to it than outside with it.

Oh what a night...... Serious storm with hurricane force winds since 5pm yesterday evening, still bucketing down at the min but thankfully the wind has eased for now. A lot of big trees down, don't know where all this water is going to go.....

Ah the winds were bad but they weren't hurricane force anywhere on the island,don't be exaggerating.
Still very windy and wet in East Wicklow .
Land is saturated now with no sign of a let up.Certainly no fert going out in the next 2 weeks.
Glad I emptied the tanks jan 13th,wouldn't like to be doing it now!
