At Your Service will return for a Christmas Special (before the new series in the New Year)

It looks like it will be a bit different - a sort of 'Challenge Francis and John'. It will be called 'At Your Service - To The Rescue'

The Brennan brothers are back for a special Christmas episode of At Your Service. Francis and John are coming to the aid of sixteen-year-old Conor Dillon and an Irish charity close to his heart, CASA (Caring and Sharing Association).

Conor uses the CASA Respite Centre in Malahide, which it is in need of a revamp and the Brennan’s are going to make some changes.

They need to fit out the respite centre and they are looking for businesses or people to donate new items

No better men to do it, it should be interesting.

    Brilliant skid.

Hey imagine if they did a program like that with the Brennans plus Dermot Bannon.

    Dermot *spend spend spend*
John: now Dermot. the bottom line you always need to think of the bottom line

Francis: ah would you stoppit about more light, you have enough light. Now! Service - come on Dermot, many hands make light work

    :D

I can picture that so vividly, I think I have convinced myself it happened.

I loved the sour puss on Dermot's face when he realised that Francis had taken control of the project :D

You can see a repeat of the 2010 At Your Service Christmas Special tomorrow (Thursday) at 2.25pm
At Your Service - Christmas Challenge Francis and John Brennan are challenged to makeover two children's wards at the Cappagh Hospital and transform a disused garden space for the in time for the annual Christmas party, but they have no budget and must beg, borrow and steal building materials for the project

I'm sure they didn't actually steal anything! And then this year's Christmas Show comes your way on St Stephen's Day at 8 pm
At Your Service - To The Rescue In an hour-long special edition, hoteliers Francis and John Brennan take on their biggest and most personal project to date - renovating the respite house of a 16-year-old boy with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, who happens to be a huge fan of their show. The brothers have just five days to complete the renovation of the CASA respite centre in Malahide, Co Dublin, and they need to source building materials and furniture - not to mention volunteers and experts to do the actual work. With so much to undertake and to such a tight deadline, can they possibly finish the task?

I enjoyed the Christmas Special. It was like a mix of At Your Service, Room to Improve, Ground Force, Challenge Anneka and Kitchen Nightmares.

The lads and the volunteers did a great job for the charity, lovely to see all the clients so happy at the end.

Best wishes to CASA and all who benifit from their services in the future

Can anyone answer me this question?

The 2 little cartoon guys in the credits. One definitely looks like the older one, but the other looks feck all like the other guy.

    Whats all that about?

    Stoopid Boards

Their Function Room looked nice in the end. It was a bit unusual that they spent a lot of time looking at the old Hotel Rooms, and then decided they weren't worth renovating.

Hopefully we can get back to the live commentary next week!

    Hello all,

Nice house, but it's the kind of place you could lose a fortune on trying to keep it in good condition.
