aye it is i agree with ya there, sharper styling on newer model is attractive and stands out in a crowd of bmw's audi's passats.
but as far as styling goes its the rear lights on the older model I really like lol
    weird i know, almost a fetish:D

    That Accord is a beauty.

Hard to find a car with that much comfort, performance and safety for that money. Absolute bargain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 304 ✭✭Brasso

Kind of odd, that Accord is also here but at a price of €3499 and the add is only two days old
Also looks like that dealer coverted km to miles but divided by 1.69 instead of 1.609.

Ah now thats a bit harsh. Granted they can burn a fair drop of oil but to say it'll burn it as fast as petrol is harsh. Its a bit like saying a diesel passat will run on the smell of diesel...while some of them may be economical, no they wont run on the smell of the devils juice either.

Having said that you'd be a fool if you didn't keep an eye on it at least once a week and yeah it would probably be wise to stock up on the Halfords oil when thy have it on offer...the thicker stuff:)

    Hardly a deal breaker..!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,331 ✭✭✭toyotaavensis

no but it will fail the next nct as is. Also, the owner not having done anything about the crack makes me wonder about the rest of the car.

That said if everything else checks out she would be a good buy.

Don't think a crack on the bottom left hand side of the screen is a fail, is it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,331 ✭✭✭toyotaavensis

On that part of the window
Damage that can be contained within a 40mm diameter circle is a pass otherwise it is a fail. That is about an inch and a half so it is a fail alright.

    Seriously?
    Its a wind screen crack.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,880 ✭✭✭Kaiser D

That crack would not concern me at all so.

Windscreen cover can cover it too.

t'was tongue and cheek so to speak...but yeah you'd need to check it regulary, mate has an 01 celica and it goes through some amount of oil.
