Could be worse Jersey, 3.25 here last collection :(, alot of cows dried off and plenty fresh milkers!

Del, is the band not on the Liquid milk as oppose to the winter? We oversupplied our liquid quota by 150% in Nov, and with the winter bonus on the manufacturing it paid nicely to have gone so far over!

Our milk manager told us ne er to worry about over supplying our winter contract, we never stick to it.

On hindsight of the Drought, I'm sickened I sold on the last of my silage bales in May ha! The neighbour who bought them was well more f$uked than me in fairness!

and well he did... cheap milk to glanbia and you dilute your overall winter price by supplying non contracted milk

You get away with it in an exceptional year like this, next winter however, I'm most certainly aiming not to produce one litre more than is needed!

dont understand how.. imo per winter month the contract milk is a set euro value which is divided by their bonus per litre giving you your set volume for the month... after that your on basic manuf price i would have thought... am mostly liquid here with some w scheme ... have actually got 3 diff prices some winter months when i was a bold boy like u are now:D

You will get a top up payment to reflect inflation on scheme one and market adjuster for scheme two. It will be paid in Jan ac.

You'll be laughing next fall when the priced drops and we're left crying into our milk
