Pelligrini said in an interview last night he was always going to take him off at half time so apparently he isn't injured.

On another note, the English media would sicken ya. Have had SSN on 15 minutes and have heard Joe Hart's name about 50 times, including a full rundown of his stats from last night, Peter Schmeichel talking about his performance and confidence and the highlights showing every time he touched the ball.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Hart get backs in the team to appease the press more than anything. It's building into a sideshow for Pelligrini, and once he isn't making the same mistakes, he'll be straight back in to counteract this.

Interested to hear your thinking behind Santon over Yanga-Mbiwa? I debated a Newcastle defender but didn't think Santon was worth the extra cash. Went with Vlaar anyway, but may get YM in next week for Reid.

As we go into the winter fixture list, it's critical to have 15 players who are very sure to start. Rotation is a b!tch over the next month.

Yanga-Mbiwa was filling in for Debucky who was due to miss just one match. That meant that when he did return, YM was an instant rotation risk. Santon provides stability of starts.

It was a coin flip between Santon and Coloccini tbh, but I felt that Santon was facing teams that were a little vunerable to attacking full backs so opted for him.

There's a lot of red on that team, 3 Southampton, 3 Liverpool and 3 Arsenal - I'd be balancing that team out a bit more if I was you.

Ditch a Southampton defender anyway, and probably Barkley (pundits keep telling us he's playing well but isn't scoring at all).

Maybe look at bringing in a Newcastle or Everton defender, both seem to have a nice December ahead of them. For the midfielder, assuming ya cant afford any of the big guns (Oscar/Nasri etc), maybe Fer, Lampard or Shelvey?

Can't decide who to start this week lads. Dawson (have Rooney) or Davies (have Suarez)? And Brady (Have Mignolet) or Morrison?

Dawson and Morrison. However, and Swiper might add his thoughts, Dawson could be on the chopping block after the 6-0. City completely exposed the Spurs high defensive line at the weekend.

Tonights line up should give us a fair idea re dawson. If he was to start tonight I think swipers prediction will come true. Im taking him out anyway for Danny gabbidon to fund my all out attack plan.

How was YM filling in for Debuchy, they have been playing together all season? I don't pretend to know anything about the Newcastle team and I plan on asking a mate later who is an avid fan, but based on the stats YM seems to have nailed down a spot?

Totally agree on needing 15 players, my next two transfers are to ensure exactly this.

There was a tweet with a quote from Pardew that Williamson will definitely play on Sunday. YM has played at CB recently and filled in at full back last week for the suspended Debuchy. Debuchy and Santon are the full backs, Williamson plays so that's one spot left for either YM or Colocinni, that's it in a nutshell.

I've nothing to say about Dawson, I admire him greatly but cannot understand how anyone would rate the qualities he brings to the table more than those of Chiriches or Kaboul. Verthongen has to come back to the middle on Sunday IMO.

I need to get rid of one of Sturridge, Rooney and Giroud to bring in Aguero

    Any suggestions?

Liverpool also have nice fixtures, and Rooney seems to be on one of his hot streaks.

You could make a case for any of them.

Think most people would play 4/5 strikers this year if they could

I hadnt but looking at it there I may bring in him aswell for gw 16.Palace and cardiff rotate perfectly for the next 10 gws or so. It would give me after this week West ham, Cardiff, WBA, Newcastle, southampton, sunderland, norwich and west ham all at home. From gw 16 it will be terry and 4 rotating cheapies turner, gabbidon, clyne and westham defender.

Bring in the Manspud (rooney) for Remy, or not. Bear in mind, this will wipe out my bank.

    Mignolet
    Boruc

    Dawson
    Fonte
    Shawcross
    Coleman
    Terry

    Nasri
    Morrison
    Hazard
    Paulinho
    Ramsey

    Sturridge
    Remy
    Giroud

Any other suggestions? Maybe Barkley for Paulinho? giving me back 1.4 in the bank.

You seem to have a lot invested at the back. No defenders worth less than 5m?
You need to get Suarez or Aguero or both.

What defenders under 5.0 would you reccomend. You have to go down to the 18th best (score wise) before you find one under that price.

Dont want two Pool forwards, and not sure if willing to get rid of Sturridge, or Giroud just yet either.

Although changing Paulinho for Barkley, would give me enough for Aguero in place of Remy.

    Hmmmmmmmmm.

Way too much invested in your defence, you need to downgrade possibly two of them and one of your keepers.

You're not going to get far with a great defence, the points are in attacking players.

As mentioned on here Gabbidon, Vlaar and Pantilimon are decent value ATM.

Whats the story with Joe Hart then?

Hart is second choice at the moment and until Pantilimon has a bad game I can't see that changing. He played last night mainly because it was a meaningless game.

I'd be seriously pissed off if yanga mbiwa got dropped, only brought him in for Chester (of all people) last week. Dawson too looking ropey. It's amazing that every time you seem to just about have your team in order something like this always happens!

Anyone have any news on Brady?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,113 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Had Beg and Boruc and was rotating but now they both play away the same week so cant rotate. Is Krul a good bet to replace Boruc?
