looks like chester is dropping to 3.8 tonight:mad:

Even better for the OP then! I'm not overly concerned about him dropping. I see him in my team all year.

He'll be a bargain at that price. I can see myself going Zab to Chester to bank 2.2 million.

Doing that and Ozil to Walcott, should leave me with enough to upgrade Lukaku to Rooney if I wish to.

I'm not seeing Rooney as an immediate priority yet. United have Spurs and Everton this week which are two tough games. My hope anyway is that he'll get booked against either and have the one game ban hanging over his head gone.

I think I'll stay away from rooney myself and keep with suarez, aguero, lukaku. If RVP was out for a considerable time rooney may tempt me then.

I'm not sure myself tbh. I may use the cash for other purposes. My defence though is:

    Zab Coleman Clyne Shaw Terry

I'm happy enough to lose Zab from that for a 4 mil or so defender. That frees up 2 million.

Ozil to Walcott is another transfer planned. That frees up another mil and leaves me with:

Morrisson Brady (those two will rotate for 3-4-3) Walcott Ramsey Oscar

After that, I have no big plans other than maybe Oscar to Hazard so I might go Lukaku to Rooney if no other move seems necessary in the meantime.

Nastasic out for 3 weeks . Think I'll reconsider getting rid of Dawson now.

If Nastasic is out, is Lescott likely to start?

    Actually Lescott will start :D

Kompany not ready yet so it'll be Lescott-Demichaelis

    Start Januzaj or Dawson?

I'm tempted to just do the -4 to get Nastasic out? A clean sheet would pay for itself

Don't know if I'm annoyed at Nastasic's injury, or happy to have an easy choice of who to transfer out for a Chelsea defender. Was going to save the transfer otherwise so it works out ok for me.

Is Terry the best option for Chelsea? Ivanovic is owned by a lot of my leagues so I would prefer a differential. They both seem a big threat from set pieces.

Ollson for Norwich has now been tipped by Total FPL and FFS to start on the left of midfield this weekend. With Snodgrass and Pilkington likely to be unavailable for the favourable next six fixtures I think I'll definitely take a punt on him now. I may even play 5 at the back tomorrow.

Really don't know what to do this week.

    Team is....

    Howard

    Fonte Baines Terry

    Ramsey Brady Toure Lallana

    Rooney Giroud Negredo

Subs: Harper Baker Whittaker and Paulinho.

Any thoughts? Going to replace Baines with another defender as he's out injured and debating whether to go for Aguero instead of Negredo. Only have 0.1 in the bank though so I don't know what to do!

Doing the same myself dawson to ollson and arnie to morrison. Will leave me the money to get in walcott for hull at home.

I have two options. Keep in mind I have taken a -8 already.

    1. Sub Nastasic for Dawson. Dawson plays United so I'm not sure how much faith I'd have in him keeping a clean sheet, despite being at home.

    2. Sub Nastasic out for another -4 (Lescott, Koscielny seem like ideal replacements. Gamble on Cahill)

I was stuck between dropping Arnie or Wilson, at this stage I've settled on Wilson out, hopefully Arnie only misses one or two games at most, I still think there's 7 or 8 goals in him this year.

I've had Ivanovic since the beginning and to be honest the majority of his points have come from CS rather than goals from set pieces. Terry is more of a threat, I'd prefer to have him but other transfers have always has preference and it's not worth changing at this stage. Pick Terry.

ye i still think he is a good option but with 3 games in a week I couldnt afford to hold onto him.

It may make sense for you alright. Im planning to go cheap on defence bar terry and go with 3 big hitters in midfield ( walcott, ozil, hazard potentially) so wont have the money for rooney.

Definitely do both of those things. Negredo to Aguero requires 2.9 from Baines sale so gives you a 4.7 budget for a defender.

Gabbidon in for Baines, Aguero in for Negredo and captain him. (I assume that means 4pt hit?) That should leave you enough to get Lampard in for Paulinho next week for their run of Sunderland, Stoke, Cr Palace

You're a legend. That sounds perfect.

Maybe Ramsey to Silva if Ramseys returns diminish, by the time you make your other planned transfers Silva should be back. I think come wildcard time the midfield to have will be Walcott, Silva and Oscar/Hazard with Morrison and An Other to rotate.

Go for option 1. It's gonna cost you -4 to bring in Lescott, so even if he keeps a clean sheet you're just breaking even. Much better chance IMO that he won't or Dawson will.

Ah ok, I was making assumptions about your selling values so maybe that's where it went.

James Chester is a good shout if that's the move you want to make to get Lampard in. Just wait until tonight when he drops to 3.8 but before the deadline tomorrow morning!

Other option would be Lallana - Lampard instead of Paulinho - Lampard but I'm guessing you want to keep Lallana. Sessengnon and Cabaye are cheaper options though and I would be getting Lampard and one of them in for Paulinho and Lallana, but I'm pessimistic about Southampton right now.

an option, but don't buy him till tomorrow.

Due to go down to 3.8 tonight.

It looks like Begovic will be out for a considerable amount of time. Can't see him being allowed to play in this state.

I'd be way too short with the Lallana- Lampard transfer. 0.6 short so would need to make another transfer. Think I'll just go Chester later. Another thing, how do you know that their values drop and rise??

Click on Falls. It's not an exact science but in general hitting 100% on this scale means they'll change price by 0.1 overnight. James Chester is 120% to a drop so should go from 3.9 - 3.8 tonight. It's based on NTI - Net Transfers in, basically the number of teams transferring the player.
