    I'm thinking I'll get rid of Terry. Too much money invested there. I have Rooney, Suarez Aguero and Ozil. If I'm to get Walcott in a week or two I need to free up cash, so I'm thinking Terry to Vlarr maybe. I'll see how this weekend goes first.

    I'll hold on to Terry, he's been extremely unlucky so far. Hit the bar twice and was set for max BP's the last two games before Chelsea conceded. Agreed he's had a shocking return but he has 5 good fixtures coming up, I'll be holding on to him.

    It's a lot of money to have tied up in defence. I'll wait anyway until after the weekend to see

    Januzaj out. I'll have £5.9m to spend. Any recommendations?

    Looking at bringing Vlaar in for Fulham's defensive sieve Amorebieta. He's a good player but Fulham is not the place for clean sheets.

    No Lovren today for Saints means I'll probably swap him out for Vlaar this week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,256 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

    The Lukaku wonder show means it'll be Zab or Oscar out for me.

    If Oscar wants to score a couple he can stay though :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,954 ✭✭✭✭dahat

    Looks like i am going to get my cash reserves flowing again by selling Lovren for Vlaar. Hurting alot over Lukaku still but to do something silly like buy him back for a hit would be reckless...

    Or would it..............

    Have 2 FT's this week, need to get in Suarez but all 3 of my attackers scored today (Sturridge, Lukaku and Remy). This morning I was thinking of taking Lukaku out, leaning towards taking out Sturridge now.

    Need to sacrifice a midfielder to make the money. Probably Ozil or Oscar. Yaya seems too consistent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    Probably going to do a double change actually, although I'll wait until after the Monday night game for this one.

    Ozil -> Walcott
    Januzaj -> Sessegnon

    I think Walcott at £9.1m is better value than Ozil at £10.2m (that's what I paid for him).

    West Brom have some nice fixtures over the next couple of months and Sesegnon only has 3.4% ownership, so a great differential.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,791 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

    Ozil may be getting the chop soon enough. For 10.6 he should be getting a lot more than what he's been getting. Might bring Yaya in for the Christmas as that would leave me with an extra 1m. I could bring Terry in for Coleman and have still have 1.1 left over for anything else.

    Has to be said that this year's midf options are truly awful. I think most people have at least 2 cheap midfs plus Ramsey, and it's not a hindrance in any way.

    thinking of doing this tonight before price rises should i?
    Ozil and ramsey out for walcott and coutinho

    Ozil has done NOTHING in about 5 match days.

    Ozil gone, Walcott in.

    I think I'll keep my transfer so I can go wild after next weekends football. Could see 4/5 transfers to fix my midfield for once and for all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 153 ✭✭Want2know

    I need a cheap defender that plays to free up a bit of cash. Im thinking of getting Baker (Villa) but dont know much about him. Is he gauranteed his game when all Villa's defenders are fit?

    Villa seem to have some nice fixtures to the end of the end of the year also.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,369 ✭✭✭LostBoy101

    I might save my FT this week and assess my squad next week. If Ozil doesn't produce the goods against Hull he'll be getting the chop for that price. The best time to make major changes is by the time January comes around.

    I think I like you. A few of us on the FSA have a little social group, we usually meet up on a Friday night before he ruins our weekend, we'd be honoured to have you as one of us!!:pac:

    Vlaar is the hipster choice of the Villa backline, joined the Vlaar gang myself earlier

    My team for next week isn't looking bad. All have decent fixtures so I might just bank the transfer.

    Possible transfers are Ozil out or Zab out.

    Id get rid of AJ especially for xmas fixtures as I cant see him starting more than 50% of utds games.

    Yeah that's why I want rid, can never be sure when he's going to play, is Morrison as good as anyone to replace him with?

    I'm wondering if there's a chance Davis at Saints could get a chance over the next two games.

    Boruc made a dreadful mistake today and was poor for the Stoke goal a couple of GWs back as well.

    Im thinking Ozil out and one of these 4 in:

    1. Gerrard
    2. Hazard
    3. Coutinho
    4. Oscar

    Any advice? The rest of my mids are Ramsey, Yaya, Brady and......em....well....Mutch :o

    Ok. I'm knocking my idea I'd getting rid of Terry on the head for this week at least.
    More immediate concerns are replacing Ozil or Brady.
    Ozil out for Hazard gives me 1.1 extra in the bank but leaves me without Arsenal attacking cover. How to get Walcott in then? That will involve a double transfer and yet another 4 point hit the following week and will mean Terry and Lallana out for Vlaar and Walcott.

    Im gonna go Lescott to Jonny Evans

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,970 ✭✭✭mufcboy1999

    Seriously want to keep Rvp in because In my money league I'm the only who kept the faith and stuck with him but the option to bring in Rooney instead saving me a few million allowing me to bring in terry is tempting, very tempting.

    I'm not too sure if we should really welcome too many new members, they need to suffer a more before I'll be happy!
    To Ramsey owners: hang onto the little pr*ck for a little bit longer lads, think of the 0.4 or 0.5 million extra it'll cost you if he comes good again

    I was going to save this only for a Ramsey and Yaya double disaster GW but I think it should be used at ever possible chance

    Ramsey 3 points

    And Mr P.... did I not hear some mutterings from you about leaving the club...hang your head

    I believe they were bringing the whiskey and Mr.P doesn't say no to free whiskey from strangers :pac:

    Ah I couldn't do that but I see Yaya as the greater evil between the two, somebody should've told us he could take net busting freekicks!

    I'd switch Coleman to Mertesacker and Clyne to a WBA defender, Olsson maybe if you have another .2 to spare. Reckon Westwood might be a better option than Boruc as Sunderland have better fixtures coming up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,697 ✭✭✭Danger781

    Need to bring in Aguero immediately.

    I'd also like Navas as it looks like he is hitting form. At the very least I can capitilise on price rises.

    Few options:

    -8 point hit
    Giroud -> Aguero
    Ozil -> Navas
    Nastasic -> Vlaar
    (Nastasic looks like he may become subject to rotation)

    -12 point hit
    Remy -> Aguero
    Ozil -> Navas
    Vidic -> Vlaar
    Dawson -> Kaboul
    Uniteds next few fixtures aren't easy
    Dawson has 1 yellow left, and Kaboul looks like he may become a regular
    This way I still have some Arsenal attacking threat

    This is my team at the moment if anyone wants to offer suggestions

    It has to be Vidic. How many games has he missed now and United are not good defensively this season

    Why the obesssion with price rises? step back and take a day or two before lashing into 8 or 12pt hits.

    Auguero i can understand and Vlaar possibly but i wouldn't go any further

    EDIT:Read that wrong but still too much of a knee jerk panic on transfers
