He might be a bit embarrassed when he wakes up alright, going by the 4:15 am post and the immaturity of it, I'm guessing he isn't an new recruit to the nappy changing crew that can pop up at all hours here :D

Night feeding crew you mean. Bottle and baby in one arm and hand, iPhone in the other.

    That's how we roll :D

Changing a nappy requires both hands.

Oh I know all about it.

Had my phone alarm set for 5am for Friday morning as our little one has been sick and I was on duty, anyway, I forgot to turn off the alarm for Saturday morning.
I had been out for a few too many on friday night, cue the missus kicking me to turn off my alarm at 5am.
I was still under the influence, and instead of turning off the alarm, I was told that I just logged onto boards.ie......... :o
The phone was grabbed off me apparently, no cup of tea in bed for me later on.

For some reason I have Darren Bent in my team :( Need to get him out and thinking of Gouffran? He's on a good run of form.

Failing that, I could try Ozil for Gerrard (who has some easy games coming up) and then next week get better striker in.

    Ozil Versus Oscar?

Im liking Chelsea's next four fixtures but worried Ozil will do something the minute i transfer him out - any thought?...

Am I mad to consider ditching Ramsey? I think his run of form is coming to an end. Was watching the match yesterday and it looked as if Wilshere was playing higher up. It was also the first time I wasn't particularly impressed with Ramsey.

Want to get Hazard and Walcott in for Ozil and Ramsey. I think Hazard and Walcott will easily outscore the latter two. Only problem is that Walcott would be my only attacking Arsenal cover.

I'm considering ditching him too, I have enough to get Walcott for him, I'll see how they both play this weekend. It's just a bit scary not having him knowing almost everyone else does.

    My 2 cents:

I can't justify the cost of Ozil when people like Oscar, Hazard, etc. are scoring similarly, if not higher than Ozil. The extra spare cash can be invested elsewhere.

Who are people getting in for Baines? Any suggestions? Selling price is 7.7m

Did Hazard in for Ozil last night. Don't like having to make transfers so early but it saved me a much needed £0.2m. Hopefully that'll be my only change of the week, will probably make a double next week. Worried about not having any Arsenal attacking cover going into next week.

This transfer looks to be very popular but seems sideways to me. I suppose price change a big motivating factor for a lot of transfers (especially early ones).

Whatever about Cardiff this GW, what about Hull the next GW? For me the time to sell Ozil is either GW15 or 16.

Edit: actually Rory I think you meant the Hull game is your worry, so yes I agree!

If you don't already have him then I would say that Terry is almost certainly the way to go if you are looking for a premium defender at the moment.
Newcastle have good fixtures also so you could take your pick from there.

Away to united and Arsenal in the next three weeks, I'd say avoid at all costs until that's behind them.

If I had to sell Baines I would get a Chelski def, most likely Terry

Alot of people are going for Mertesacker who is a million cheaper than Terry. Arsenal also have decent fixtures. I'd go for Terry ahead of Mert but if you want that 1 million for elsewhere.

Well John Brayford who has 0 points this season has 445 transfers in and Jagielka who plays United and Arsenal in the next 3 weeks has over 5000 :pac:

Just please tell me you couldn't have afforded somebody like Coutinho in your 8 point hit instead who plays Hull, Norwich, West Ham, Spurs and Cardiff in his next 5 games

There is no doubting navas is a kneejerk transfer, however its not a bad move city have decent fixtures, silva is injured and he has proven in the past he has a great understanding with negredo. Forgetting the fact that danger took a massive points hit bringing navas in. Navas in actualy makes a bit of sense.

I agree with you the earliest Ill sell ozil is gw 16. I see ozil as the one arsenal midfield player that will always play.

    Well...

Navas cost me 8.1 and I have 0.6 in the bank

However.. ideally, I'd like to swap Januzaj out for Brady at a cost 0.3

So.. I really only have 0.3 in the bank and Coutinho costs 8.5 so I'm 0.1 off

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Look it's done now, and he could score well against Swansea but City have been awful away and they've got 2 away games after that before playing at home to Arsenal. A good chance the likes of Milner could even come in for the away games. With 5 games (including yesterday and CL) in the next 2 weeks there will be rotation so just be aware of that.

I for one hope he does well next weekend, it's a gamble on a differential but you could well have the last laugh, we all know I'm suffering my fair share of abuse over this unfounded Norwich love in I've mysteriously developed so I'm firmly on Team Navas for the weekend aslong as he has plenty assists for Aguero :pac:

Cool I have Mert plus cover from Newcastle. Will likely look at a Chelsea defender so, Terry looks to be the stand out. Glad I have 2 free transfers so I can use the Baines excess to upgrade elsewhere

In the long run, which is better:

    Suarez/ negredo or aguero/Sturridge

And no, can't afford both superstars. Have the latter pair presently

That is impossible to call to be honest, If I had to pick one it would be Aguero/Sturridge. I don't see how you couldn't afford both by taking a 4 point hit, both have really good fixtures this week to make it up to you.

There's a few very cheap strikers showing the potential for respectable points hauls, it's not likely to be a route I'll go down unless I want three absolute premium mids but Crouch(5.5) and Ameobi(4.8) are two often maligned strikers who seem very important for their teams right now.

I think it's time to cash in on Januzaj. Don't see him going up much more. Selling him and with the money I have in my bank, I've 6.9m to use. Anyone got any suggestions? Current MF is Ocsar, Sessegnon, Brady, Morrison, Januzaj.

I'm giving him the next few GWs because Arsenal have a good run coming up. My midfield at present is:

    Brady Morrisson Ramsey Ozil Oscar

I reckon my aim will be:

Brady Morrisson Walcott Hazard Another (possibly Silva or Coutinho)

Will probably start by doing Ozil to Walcott after this weekend.

Cheers. Obviously apprehensive enough about it considering everyone has him but fcuk it, I don't think his run will last. I'll hold off for now but I can see myself getting rid this week.

Enrique out for 2 months, and even though Flanagan was a surprise pick last week. After that display it would be seriously harsh if he was dropped. Could be a very handy cheap way into the Liv defence.

just reading there that chelsea changed formation against west ham with hazard and oscar wide and lamps breaking from the middle. If lamps doesnt start tomorrow night an old ff favourite of mine could be getting a recall. 7.5 playing in that position is very interesting even if he only starts 2 in every 3 games.
