PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

Alot of people are jumping on the bandwagon on various forums claiming "this is why I don't buy consoles at launch" seems like a subtle hint of a green eyed monster creeping in. Who wouldn't want a brand new games console under their tree Christmas morning no matter what stage of the console's cycle we're in. These minor issues are easily fixable if they do happen to occur with your console.

Yeah just like on a few other forums its Xbox users laughing at the few ps4 problems. It's gonna be same on friday with the xbone launch it WILL have faults as well. Newsflash it happens with all electronics or mass produced products. Iphones have issues every version released has has them same with HTC and Samsung galaxy. But people seem to be jumping on the Sony sucks bandwagon.

As someone said earlier its 0.4%, and thats to do with a piece of metal on the HDMI port sticking up (which apparently can be easily fixed by pushing it back down) Its hardly a Red Ring of Death situation. If you would actually let that infulence your decision to buy then step aside let the person behind you in the queue have one, they will probably have more fun with it anyway

Well said! It is amazing how many people choose to hop on any slight hint of a problem and all of a sudden it becomes "Everyone I know who bought one has a broken one" and soon becomes "60% of all consoles are fecked". The mind boggles really.

I think as well people may have forgotten that their is a zero day release patch to fix some of the already identified software issues. I reckon some of the "problems" people are experiencing are down to not doing this update.

Even if you are one of the minuscule few who end up with a dodgy console, they will replace it for you for free, it is not the end of the world if something happens.

Exactly, worse case scenario, you lose a PS4 for a few weeks. But your still going to get more game time on it than a March purchaser.

I can confirm tha Smyths Waterford have extra ,unallocated Knack bundles. I know the person on the games section. The person checked the system and said that there are a few. People who arrive at the midnight launch will have preferance .Any bundles that are left the next morning will be 1st come 1st served. The person kinda hinted that you might even get one on launch night...if you really try.

They are there.

I just put in a preorder for the Sony PlayStation 4 Gamer Pack (PS4) and sent an email asking would it be delivered by Christmas. They said it should be. Unless you changed your order to just the PS4 by itself then you should get it by Christmas.

Nope they clearly state if you order now you will receive after release date but BEFORE Christmas please read the link before spoiling somebody's chance of getting a ps4 before Christmas.

Spoke with Xtra Vision sallynoggin there. No midnight opening for XB1 or PS4, no info on bundles, the girl was just off phone with head office and they had no new info on bundles for them at all. She said to call next Wed/Thurs to find out if they would have any bundles of their own available

It will be interesting to find out if Amazon ship the XB1 early enough to be received on Friday if you have choosen 2-day delivery. If so, it should hopefully be the same for PS4.

Not compatible with mine either, but when I side loaded it, it works fine. I've a first-gen Nexus 7 btw.

Yeah its out on the US google play store and the Apple US app store, you can grab it now if you have a US iTunes account. Its pretty good I have to say.

Can't see it when searching on the google store but it's accessible and without any region tricks.
